This is the very rare demo-version of a video clip for Zaine's single Swing! - a single/maxisingle that was originally released in Netherlands only, autumn 1983. In october 2012 Swing is released on CD for the first time. The filming of this clip was directed by Zaine Griff himself.The dancing girl is Linda Pieke.
The definitive clip was never made, however. The demo is made in Amsterdam, Netherlands, where Zaine lived for some months in winter 1983/84. This demo was kept on the shelve for over 23 years, before I had it digitalized and uploaded! It's time to show it to all Zaine's old fans and new people that are interested in Zaine's music!
NEWS UPDATE: ZAINE'S THIRD ALBUM "CHILD WHO WANTS THE MOON" and the digital rereleases of his first albums ASHES AND DIAMONDS and FIGVRES can be downloaded worldwide. Also the CD's with lyrics in booklet can now be ordered.
A LIMITED EDITION of Zaine's first albums WITH BONUS SONGS is out in Japan, okt 2012. Coöperating on these albums of Zaine Griff are famous people like Hans Zimmer - the oscar winning film music composer - Kate Bush, Warren Cann of Ultravox and Yukihiro Takahashi of YMO, among other fine musicians.

This demo-clip shows very much Zaine's own style, in clothes and in moves... and the song Swing! is a very special one too, a very original song in style and rhythm.
I think the song is produced by Midge Ure of Ultravox, because he was going to be the producer of Zaine's third solo album - the recording of which started it autumn 1983 but was never finished.
Allthough Zaine did not release any new music for many years, his fans stayed interested in him and hoping for his albums ASHES AND DIAMONDS and FIGVRES to be re-released on CD and new albums to be recorded. Already in the nineties all info on Zaine's career, his music, art and poetry as well as many studio and live pictures were brought together on internet, on the website zainegriff . co .uk - mastered by Sam Voxx.
Many fans kept roaming the internet to try to find old vinyl copies of Zaine's albums and singles and since I posted Zaine's clips, some demo's and live-clips on Youtube some years ago, over 200.000 people viewed his songs. In my former account and this account.
Zaine's fans were thrilled that suddenly The Pale Proud Hero returned on the music stage Autumn 2011 Zaine released a brandnew third album "Child Who Wants The Moon" which can be downloaded from Amplifier .co. nz and iTunes. The album can also be ordered in hard copy CD, with all lyrics in a booklet. All info and links towards music and all other info at zainegriff . co .uk and zainegriff . com
Finally also Zaine's first albums were re-released, digitally remastered for download and on hard copy CD with booklets. End october 2012 a LIMITED EDITION Japanese re-release of ASHES AND DIAMONDS and FIGVRES were issued with bonustracks from singles. This song SWING - originally Dutch release only - is added to the album FIGVRES.
Best option to order these Japanese re-releases is through YesAsia Japan as they do not charge postage, when both albums are ordered.
20 october 2012 Zaine Griff also returned live to London stage with a concert in O2 Academy London previous to the show of Toyah. Before this show Zaine did live shows in Auckland NZ, his home city. AND THERE IS MORE TO COME....! A FOURTH ALBUM is finished recording and might be out early 2013

The title would have been too long had I included this in it, but the man who originally performed this combination of songs (much more beautifully than I ever could) is Israel Kamakawiwo'ole.
This video is dedicated to my mom, who introduced me to The Wizard of Oz and countless other classic films long before I was old enough to really appreciate them. For that I will always be grateful. I love you!

The year is 1915. It's been one year since the tragic events of Titanic. Join Rose (Kate Winslet) as she struggles to adjust to a life without Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio).
But when a mysterious stranger washes up on shore, Rose soon discovers she can't escape the ghosts of her past.
This is a fan trailer (sometimes called a concept trailer). It's a highly edited movie trailer for a fictional film. By using professional voice artists, filmed footage, special effects and creative editing, an entirely original storyline is created.

I originally started this trailer way back in 2016. I knew I wanted to make a Titanic 2 trailer that parodied the 90's classic "I Know What You Did Last Summer". In that film, four teenagers mistakenly think they accidentally killed a man. A year later, he turns up alive and wreaks revenge on them.
I wanted to parody that with Jack turning up a year later (after he was assumed dead) and getting his revenge on Rose.
I really struggled to find footage to push this storyline so I ended up putting it to the side. Instead, I focused on a different Titanic plot (which ended up being my trailer for Titanic 2: Jacks Back).
I always wanted to go back and finish this video because I knew it had a strong concept and I really loved the absurdity of it all.
In this trailer I relied heavily on a new technique where I dub actors voices with a professional voice artist. It made it so much easier to push the plot (rather than relying on existing footage) and I'm very happy with the way this trailer turned out.
This trailer is comprised of 15 different movies and uses 4 different voice artists.

Wuthering Heights was released as Kate's debut single in January 1978. It became a No.1 hit in the UK singles chart and remains Kate's biggest-selling single.
Two music videos were created to accompany "Wuthering Heights." In Version 1, Kate can be seen performing the song in a dark room filled with white mist while wearing a white dress -- this was the UK release. In Version 2 Kate dances in an outdoor environment while wearing a red dress -- this video was produced for the American release.

Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps
Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps is a British comedy television series sitcom that ran from 26 February 2001 to 24 May 2011 and starred Sheridan Smith, Will Mellor, Ralf Little, Natalie Casey, Kathryn Drysdale and Luke Gell. Created and written by Susan Nickson, it is set in the town of Runcorn in Cheshire, England, and originally revolves around the lives of five twenty-somethings. Little departed after the airing of the sixth series with Smith and Drysdale leaving following the airing of the eighth series. The ninth and final series had major changes with new main cast members and new writers.
The core cast have been augmented by various recurring characters throughout the series, including Beverly Callard, Lee Oakes, Hayley Bishop, Alison Mac, Thomas Nelstrop and Jonathon Dutton. The show was first broadcast in 2001 on BBC Two. The title was inspired by the 1980 hit single “Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps Please” by Splodgenessabounds. On 23 July 2011, it was confirmed that the series would not be returning due to BBC Three wanting to make room for new comedies and feeling that the series had come to a natural end following the departures of most of the main cast members.

This is the very rare demo-version of a video clip for Zaine's single Swing! - a single/maxisingle that was originally released in Netherlands only, autumn 1983. In october 2012 Swing is released on CD for the first time. The filming of this clip was directed by Zaine Griff himself.The dancing girl is Linda Pieke. The definitive clip was never made, however. The demo is made in Amsterdam, Netherlands, where Zaine lived for some months in winter 1983/84. This demo was kept on the shelve for over 23 years, before I had it digitalized and uploaded! It's time to show it to all Zaine's old fans and new people that are interested in Zaine's music! It was only a matter of time before I covered this song, right? The title would have been too long had I included this in it, but the man who originally performed this combination of songs (much more beautifully than I ever could) is Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. This video is dedicated to my mom, who introduced me to The Wizard of Oz and countless other classic films long before I was old enough to really appreciate them. For that I will always be grateful. I love you! Also- I was rushing to make this video and didn't memorize all of the lyrics, so I'm glancing at them hanging next to my computer. Thus the lack of eye contact. Sorry.

This demo-clip shows very much Zaine's own style, in clothes and in moves... and the song Swing! is a very special one too, a very original song in style and rhythm.
I think the song is produced by Midge Ure of Ultravox, because he was going to be the producer of Zaine's third solo album - the recording of which started it autumn 1983 but was never finished.
Allthough Zaine did not release any new music for many years, his fans stayed interested in him and hoping for his albums ASHES AND DIAMONDS and FIGVRES to be re-released on CD and new albums to be recorded. Already in the nineties all info on Zaine's career, his music, art and poetry as well as many studio and live pictures were brought together on internet, on the website zainegriff . co .uk - mastered by Sam Voxx.
Many fans kept roaming the internet to try to find old vinyl copies of Zaine's albums and singles and since I posted Zaine's clips, some demo's and live-clips on Youtube some years ago, over 200.000 people viewed his songs. In my former account and this account.
Zaine's fans were thrilled that suddenly The Pale Proud Hero returned on the music stage Autumn 2011 Zaine released a brandnew third album "Child Who Wants The Moon" which can be downloaded from Amplifier .co. nz and iTunes. The album can also be ordered in hard copy CD, with all lyrics in a booklet. All info and links towards music and all other info at zainegriff . co .uk and zainegriff . com
Finally also Zaine's first albums were re-released, digitally remastered for download and on hard copy CD with booklets. End october 2012 a LIMITED EDITION Japanese re-release of ASHES AND DIAMONDS and FIGVRES were issued with bonustracks from singles. This song SWING - originally Dutch release only - is added to the album FIGVRES.
Best option to order these Japanese re-releases is through YesAsia Japan as they do not charge postage, when both albums are ordered.
20 october 2012 Zaine Griff also returned live to London stage with a concert in O2 Academy London previous to the show of Toyah. Before this show Zaine did live shows in Auckland NZ, his home city. AND THERE IS MORE TO COME....! A FOURTH ALBUM is finished recording and might be out early 2013

The year is 1915. It's been one year since the tragic events of Titanic. Join Rose (Kate Winslet) as she struggles to adjust to a life without Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio).
But when a mysterious stranger washes up on shore, Rose soon discovers she can't escape the ghosts of her past.
This is a fan trailer (sometimes called a concept trailer). It's a highly edited movie trailer for a fictional film. By using professional voice artists, filmed footage, special effects and creative editing, an entirely original storyline is created.

I originally started this trailer way back in 2016. I knew I wanted to make a Titanic 2 trailer that parodied the 90's classic "I Know What You Did Last Summer". In that film, four teenagers mistakenly think they accidentally killed a man. A year later, he turns up alive and wreaks revenge on them.
I wanted to parody that with Jack turning up a year later (after he was assumed dead) and getting his revenge on Rose.
I really struggled to find footage to push this storyline so I ended up putting it to the side. Instead, I focused on a different Titanic plot (which ended up being my trailer for Titanic 2: Jacks Back).
I always wanted to go back and finish this video because I knew it had a strong concept and I really loved the absurdity of it all.
In this trailer I relied heavily on a new technique where I dub actors voices with a professional voice artist. It made it so much easier to push the plot (rather than relying on existing footage) and I'm very happy with the way this trailer turned out.
This trailer is comprised of 15 different movies and uses 4 different voice artists.

This is the very rare demo-version of a video clip for Zaine's single Swing! - a single/maxisingle that was originally released in Netherlands only, autumn 1983. In october 2012 Swing is released on CD for the first time. The filming of this clip was directed by Zaine Griff himself.The dancing girl is Linda Pieke.
The definitive clip was never made, however. The demo is made in Amsterdam, Netherlands, where Zaine lived for some months in winter 1983/84. This demo was kept on the shelve for over 23 years, before I had it digitalized and uploaded! It's time to show it to all Zaine's old fans and new people that are interested in Zaine's music!
NEWS UPDATE: ZAINE'S THIRD ALBUM "CHILD WHO WANTS THE MOON" and the digital rereleases of his first albums ASHES AND DIAMONDS and FIGVRES can be downloaded worldwide. Also the CD's with lyrics in booklet can now be ordered.
A LIMITED EDITION of Zaine's first albums WITH BONUS SONGS is out in Japan, okt 2012. Coöperating on these albums of Zaine Griff are famous people like Hans Zimmer - the oscar winning film music composer - Kate Bush, Warren Cann of Ultravox and Yukihiro Takahashi of YMO, among other fine musicians.

This demo-clip shows very much Zaine's own style, in clothes and in moves... and the song Swing! is a very special one too, a very original song in style and rhythm.
I think the song is produced by Midge Ure of Ultravox, because he was going to be the producer of Zaine's third solo album - the recording of which started it autumn 1983 but was never finished.
Allthough Zaine did not release any new music for many years, his fans stayed interested in him and hoping for his albums ASHES AND DIAMONDS and FIGVRES to be re-released on CD and new albums to be recorded. Already in the nineties all info on Zaine's career, his music, art and poetry as well as many studio and live pictures were brought together on internet, on the website zainegriff . co .uk - mastered by Sam Voxx.
Many fans kept roaming the internet to try to find old vinyl copies of Zaine's albums and singles and since I posted Zaine's clips, some demo's and live-clips on Youtube some years ago, over 200.000 people viewed his songs. In my former account and this account.
Zaine's fans were thrilled that suddenly The Pale Proud Hero returned on the music stage Autumn 2011 Zaine released a brandnew third album "Child Who Wants The Moon" which can be downloaded from Amplifier .co. nz and iTunes. Finally also Zaine's first albums were re-released, digitally remastered for download and on hard copy CD with booklets. It was only a matter of time before I covered this song, right?
The title would have been too long had I included this in it, but the man who originally performed this combination of songs (much more beautifully than I ever could) is Israel Kamakawiwo'ole.
This video is dedicated to my mom, who introduced me to The Wizard of Oz and countless other classic films long before I was old enough to really appreciate them. For that I will always be grateful. I love you!

Forget everything you thought you knew...
The year is 1915. It's been one year since the tragic events of Titanic. Join Rose (Kate Winslet) as she struggles to adjust to a life without Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio).
But when a mysterious stranger washes up on shore, Rose soon discovers she can't escape the ghosts of her past.
This is a fan trailer (sometimes called a concept trailer). It's a highly edited movie trailer for a fictional film. By using professional voice artists, filmed footage, special effects and creative editing, an entirely original storyline is created.

I originally started this trailer way back in 2016. I knew I wanted to make a Titanic 2 trailer that parodied the 90's classic "I Know What You Did Last Summer". In that film, four teenagers mistakenly think they accidentally killed a man. A year later, he turns up alive and wreaks revenge on them.
I wanted to parody that with Jack turning up a year later (after he was assumed dead) and getting his revenge on Rose.
I really struggled to find footage to push this storyline so I ended up putting it to the side. Instead, I focused on a different Titanic plot (which ended up being my trailer for Titanic 2: Jacks Back).
I always wanted to go back and finish this video because I knew it had a strong concept and I really loved the absurdity of it all.
In this trailer I relied heavily on a new technique where I dub actors voices with a professional voice artist. It made it so much easier to push the plot (rather than relying on existing footage) and I'm very happy with the way this trailer turned out.
This trailer is comprised of 15 different movies and uses 4 different voice artists.

Two music videos were created to accompany "Wuthering Heights."
