My shabbydabbydoodah's DT journal is COMPLETE!!! Lol. This is a nautical monster of a journal filled with a plethora of vintage, tangible illustrations from books dating back to 1887 and some from the '50s. This hardcover beauty is 7.5x5 inches, 3 signatures with over 150 pages front to back. Plenty of hidden writing spots, magnetic closures, modified hardware flip outs, illustrated vellum pockets, laminated tags; several petite booklets, fabric collage galore, and a removable, interactive accordion fold (thank you, Priscilla, for the brilliant idea. Much love to you girl!!) and many other little interactive goodies.
Tina's beautiful "Maiden Voyage":

Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWy-ABf98zAjMNWpHtRQKIw
The beautiful images I used for the die-cut on the book cover comes from a talented digital artist on Etsy whose shop is called PaperElement. I used the Nautical Scrapbook Paper. The Etsy link is here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/219923150/nautical-scrapbook-paper-nautical ga_search_query=nautical&ref;=shop_items_search_5&crt;=1
The gorgeous fibers were purchased from this Etsy shop (I love you Shasha!!!!):

I bought some ephemera from this wonderful shop called BurkeSevenVintage
Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/shop/BurkeSevenVintage
I used some of The Graphic's Fairy images to create a few of the pages. I have their premium membership, but they have many images that they give freely. Please check out their site:

The books that were salvaged and repurposed to help create this beautiful journal:
1950s book: Book of the Seven Seas by Peter Freuchen (I love this book so much that I purchased one that's almost brand new for the one I owned was missing pages and the back cover)
1887 book: The English Illustrated Magazine
