Ontario will not mandate COVID-19 vaccine policy for hospital workers | FULL
Ontario Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Christine Elliott said Wednesday that the decision not to implement a mandatory COVID-19 vaccine policy for hospital workers is the “right decision for right now,” based on a risk assessment.

Elliott said they did not want to have to cancel surgeries in the province, and were concerned that they would have to do so if they implemented a mandatory vaccine policy that led to a loss in hospital staff.

Canada Road Trip: Best Things To Do In Ontario
In this video, we share some of the best things to do in Ontario, including Toronto, Niagara Falls, and Canada's 150th celebration in Ottawa!
Welcome to Ontario!
Ontario is one of the biggest provinces in Canada and is home to some amazing cities, attractions, and nature ranging from the massive cosmopolitan city of Toronto to the scenic landscapes of Algonquin Provincial Park. From kayaking next to loons to experiencing Canada Day on Parliament Hill, we had such an incredible time in Ontario.
We took a helicopter over Niagara Falls, interviewed refugees in downtown Toronto, experienced the world's largest escape room just outside of Ottawa, and sampled award-winning wines near Niagara-on-the-Lake. We really packed a lot of adventures into our two short weeks in the province and can't w...

Ontario's chief medical officer of health Dr. Kieran Moore announced on Wednesday the expansion of eligibility for COVID-19 booster shots to new groups, which include those aged 70+, health-care workers and designated essential caregivers in congregate settings.
This also applies to individuals who received the AstraZeneca or Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
These groups must have had their last shot at least six to eight months prior.
Eligible groups can start booking a booster dose on Saturday, Nov. 6. at 8 a.m.

We really packed a lot of adventures into our two short weeks in the province and can't wait to return one day and explore the province further.
We explored Ontario from June 28 - July 14, 2017.
