Temptation
Temptation is a fundamental desire to engage in short-term urges for enjoyment, that threatens long-term goals. In the context of some religions, temptation is the inclination to sin. Temptation also describes the coaxing or inducing a person into committing such an act, by manipulation or otherwise of curiosity, desire or fear of loss.
In the context of self-control and ego depletion, temptation is described as an immediate, pleasurable urge and/or impulse that disrupts an individuals ability to wait for the long-term goals, in which that individual hopes to attain.
More informally, temptation may be used to mean "the state of being attracted and enticed" without anything to do with moral, ethical, or ideological valuation; for example, one may say that a piece of food looks "tempting" even though eating it would result in no negative consequences.
Research suggests that there are paradoxical effects associated with temptation. Including all the forms temptations can present themselves there is a set of options that may facilitate high moral standards in decision making.

Plot
On the planet of Jijo, a small colony has been set up to house a group of uplifted dolphins from the starship Streaker who suffer from a disorder known as stress-atavism. Stress atavism is a condition in which the primal traits and instincts of recently uplifted beings begin to reemerge due to stress, and in this case the pressures of space travel and war. Among the dolphins in the colony, there are those reverting into their primal state, and those left to monitor and care for the former. Since they have been abandoned on Jijo however, it is speculated that within a few generations, all of the uplifted traits will have been lost, leaving nothing but the primal nature dolphins had before being uplifted.
The story follows two main branches of events, both of which stem from the original colony overseen by a dolphin named Makanee. The first branch is the story of Peepoe; a young nurse who has been kidnapped by two of her male, former crew mates. The second is the story of Tkett; an eager archaeologist who is following the signs of what he hopes to be a space ship for several different reasons. Peepoe's story begins with her daring escape from her captors, whereas Tkett's story begins with his obsession for finding and studying the ancient and far advanced technology of “the Buyur,” a mysterious and elder alien race who had colonized, and abandoned Jijo prior to Streaker's arrival.
Temptation (2004 film)
Temptation is a 2004 movie musical written by Sydney Forest and John Taylor and directed by Mark Tarlov. The film starred Adam Pascal, Alice Ripley, and Zoe Saldana The film has not yet had a theatrical or video release.
Plot and production
The story tells the tale of Faust, making a deal with the devil, in a rock musical form. There is little spoken dialogue in the film as the majority of the show is sung. The show uses characteristics of operatic recitative, as it is only being sung in Rock form, and is similar to musicals such as Rent and Bare. The vocals were recorded live on the set during filming, much like in the independent musical film Open House, rather than the lip synching process done in most movie musicals.

Heart Hampshire
Heart Hampshire (formerly Ocean FM and Ocean Sound) was a British independent local radio station serving South Hampshire, West Sussex and the Isle of Wight primarily for Portsmouth, Winchester and Southampton. The station served an area of England with a high proportion of commuters to London and a higher-than-average disposable income from middle-class families and people over 45. Its target age range was 25-45.
History
Ocean Sound's predecessor, Radio Victory provided the first local commercial radio service in the South of England in 1975, with its small transmission area around Portsmouth. The station was disliked by the then regulator and when it Independent Broadcasting Authority re-advertised the Portsmouth licence to include Southampton and Winchester, Victory lost out to a new consortium called Ocean Sound Ltd. Ocean Sound proposed an expanded coverage area taking in Southampton. Radio Victory ceased operations in June 1986, three months earlier than the expiry date of its franchise, with a test transmission informing listeners of the unprecedented situation. Ocean Sound took over programme provision that October from a new purpose-built broadcast unit in a business park at Segensworth West on the western outskirts of Fareham, Hampshire.
Heart Essex (Chelmsford & Southend)
Heart Essex (formerly Essex Radio and then Essex FM) is a British commercial radio station. It was launched on 12 September 1981, broadcasting from Southend-on-Sea and since 27 October 2004 from Chelmsford, both in Essex.
History
Heart began as Essex Radio in September 1981 broadcasting on 95.3 MHz & 1431 KHz to Southend-on-Sea and 96.4 MHz & 1359 KHz to Chelmsford in December 1981. The station was formed by several local companies including Keddies, Garons & TOTS with David Keddie, owner of the Keddies department store in Southend becoming its chairman. The station's FM frequencies were changed in 1986, with 95.3 becoming 96.3 (95.3 was handed to BBC Essex) and 96.4 becoming 102.6.
In 1989 the station split its AM and FM frequencies (as required then to do so due to a new Radio Act requirement to end simulcasting) and The Breeze began broadcasting on Essex Radio's old AM frequencies. The first song played was Cliff Richard's 'Wired for Sound'. In January 1994 Essex Radio relaunched as Essex FM. It was then rebranded as Heart in June 2009.

♥ (Heart) is the fourth EP by Norwegian electronic dance music producer Aleksander Vinter, and his third under the alias "Savant". It was released on 13 March 2013. Its total length of 30:44 comprises 5 tracks.
