It really does not matter what your domain name extension is with regards to .com, .net or a .org.

A .net, .org and a .com are all top level domain names, same with a .co. That means that these domain extensions are treated the same with regards to any search engine algorithm. With that said however, a .com is obviously the best as it's the legacy domain extension and most users associate it with any web address.
Where you need to be careful is when you decide to use a county code specific domain. If you're in say Ireland and decide to use a .ie extension or you're in Canada and using a .ca extension it WILL be more challenging to reach a wider audience.
But if we are deciding between a .com, .net or .org then NO it does not matter what your domain name extension is. What matters is the quality of your site and your links (among many other variables).
Just make sure to always check first. If you see the .com is taken, but the .net or .org is available go for it so long as the .com is being squatted on (meaning it's simply owned but not in use).

There are more than 200 domain extensions to choose from today and it's not always easy to figure out which one is the right one for you.
We dive into when you should use a .com and when you should use a .de, .co.uk, or .org for your site.
There are some use cases for each type of domain extension and it's important to know when to use the right one. For several reasons.
Your site will have more success in regards to SEO (search engine optimization) if you choose the right domain extension. Google doesn't really care which one you use but USERS tend to click more often on .com when they are expecting a bigger site.
On the other hand, we see language-specific domain extensions to do well for content that is intended for that country only. Except for when we're targeting an English speaking audience. I'm talking specifically about countries such as U.K, Australia, Nigeria, South Africa here.

In 2004, a website known as youareanidiot(dot)org rose to prominence across the internet, where it was home to what is now recognized as the You Are An Idiot computer virus (mostly known as "YouAreAnIdiot" or "Offiz"). However, many people first visiting the site had no idea what they were getting themselves into, and the story goes even deeper than that.
The YouAreAnIdiot trojan horse, also known by its official name “Offiz” infected as many as 100,000 people, and it was now making its way around the internet as a topic of heated discussion. A subject people immediately regretted becoming acquainted with, its presence just continuing to grow. It wasn’t long until people were claiming that their entire hard drives were being permanently erased and damaged beyond repair. What exactly was going on? How did the story of YouAreAnIdiot go from exhausting tech support threads within online forums into becoming an internet legend?
Well, properly answering that question requires a bit of historical context. We need to go all the way back to the year 2002. The internet is still in its fledgling phase, with the vestiges of the 90s, but it is growing at an alarming rate, as well as getting smarter and more sophisticated every day. This goes for both the technological aspects of the internet, as well as human behavior. The internet is becoming more because people are demanding more, for better and for worse. Not only was it improving on user convenience, it was learning to solve problems users had been yearning to get fixed for years, as well as solving problems users didn’t even know that they had. But this came at the expense of creating new problems, some of which were previously almost unheard of. Malicious programs were becoming smarter and more difficult to combat, as malware developers were learning from their past mistakes, and YouAreAnIdiot was a symptom of that.
But to really see how and why this was the case requires going into detail on how the virus rose to prominence and how it actually worked. The earliest form of the program showed up in early 2002, originally known by its more official name “Offiz” and it first appeared on a website. The earliest confirmed website it showed up on was known as youdontknowwhoiam(dot)org. So what did the virus actually do?
Well, it wasn’t technically a virus at all. It didn’t use your computer to spread to other ones. It was a trojan horse, a program that pretends to look nice and innocent, but causes harm to your computer once you activate it, but of course the vernacular for layman computer users is to call anything malicious a virus, so people just stuck with that. We mentioned that this virus was one of many components which formed from the early internet’s ongoing evolution, and that’s because it took advantage of a relatively new technology that was only becoming more complex by the year. This technology is called JavaScript. This wasn’t just writing code. This was the closest thing you could get to making something that was alive. Something that could almost think for itself. With JavaScript, you were playing God on the internet, so why not use it to cause mayhem as well? But this virus didn’t just take advantage of that. It also had another somewhat new and growing technology under its sleeve: the flash player. Combine these two forces and you are virtually unstoppable. Any user curious enough to click on the website’s window would be greeted with the famous animation we’ve all grown to recognize. Thanks to the JavaScript, any further attempt to exit the page, whether it be by refreshing or clicking the x button, will spawn six more smaller windows displaying the same animation, all playing at once. You’re not getting off that easy though. The script has programmed the windows to bounce around the page, so good luck exiting out, and even if you do get rid of one, six more will pop up once again. You now 11 windows on your computer calling you an idiot, and your speakers are just getting louder. You try using some hotkeys to forcefully shut down your browser, but now you just have text windows calling you an idiot. Before you know it, the windows have multiplied exponentially, and your computer’s resources are being used up. Your system is so slow you can barely even move the mouse anymore. You can’t even open task manager it’s so slow. Now you have no choice but to take the last resort and shut down your computer through physically pushing the power button.

Power Rangers Wild Force is the 2002 Power Rangers season that tells the story of the Wild Force Power Rangers and their fight against the polluting Orgs.
Wild Force Power Rangers
The Wild Force Rangers are granted mystical powers and charged to protect the Earth from pollution-created creatures called Orgs. More specifically, they defend the fictional city of Turtle Cove, and are stationed aboard a flying island called the Animarium. Their mentor is Princess Shayla, and her mentor is Animus (who is an ancient Megazord). The Rangers represent the Ancient Animarium Warriors who also fought to destroy the Orgs and save the Earth.
The Rangers morph using devices known as Growl Phones (which have three operating modes: normal, human-form, and Power Animal Mode that resembles an animal). Each Ranger is also armed with a Crystal Saber (into which an Animal Crystal is inserted to call a Wild Zord). In addition to piloting their Zords (known as Wild Zords), the Rangers pilot other vehicles, known as the Soul Bird and the Savage Cycles. When the Rangers put their weapons together they create the Jungle Sword, which can be used by the Red Ranger to defeat certain enemies.

From 1995–97, the Mattes toured the world’s most important museums and stole dozens of fragments from well-known works by artists such as Duchamp, Kandinsky, Beuys, and Rauschenberg. This work, titled "Stolen Pieces," exhibited the stolen fragments in glass cabinets: a porcelain piece of Duchamp's urinal, skin from an Alberto Burri painting, etc. They have manipulated video games, internet technologies and street advertising to reveal truths concealed by contemporary society. Their media facades were believable enough to elicit embarrassing reactions from governments, the public, and the art world. In addition, they have orchestrated several unpredictable mass performances, staged outside art spaces, and involved unwitting audiences in scenarios that mingle truth and falsehood to the point of being indistinguishable. Their off-the-wall performances—for which they have been sued multiple times—include affixing fake architectural heritage plaques (An Ordinary Building, 2006), rolling out a media campaign for a non-existent action movie (United We Stand, 2005) and even convincing the people of Vienna that Nike had purchased the city’s historic Karlsplatz and was about to rename it “Nikeplatz” (Nike Ground, 2003).

Open Rights Group
The Open Rights Group (ORG) is a UK-based organisation that works to preserve digital rights and freedoms by campaigning on digital rights issues and by fostering a community of grassroots activists. It campaigns on numerous issues including mass surveillance, internet filtering and censorship, and intellectual property rights.
History
The organisation was started by Danny O'Brien, Cory Doctorow, Ian Brown, Rufus Pollock, James Cronin, Stefan Magdalinski, Louise Ferguson and Suw Charman after a panel discussion at Open Tech 2005. O'Brien created a pledge on PledgeBank, placed on 23 July 2005, with a deadline of 25 December 2005: "I will create a standing order of 5 pounds per month to support an organisation that will campaign for digital rights in the UK but only if 1,000 other people will too." The pledge reached 1000 people on 29 November 2005. The Open Rights Group was launched at a "sell-out" meeting in Soho, London.
Work
The group has made submissions to the All Party Internet Group (APIG) inquiry into digital rights management and the Gowers Review of Intellectual Property.

It really does not matter what your domain name extension is with regards to .com, .net or a .org. Get your domains here: https://websitecreativepro.com/namecheap A .net, .org and a .com are all top level domain names, same with a .co. That means that these domain extensions are treated the same with regards to any search engine algorithm. With that said however, a .com is obviously the best as it's the legacy domain extension and most users associate it with any web address. Where you need to be careful is when you decide to use a county code specific domain. A .net, .org and a .com are all top level domain names, same with a .co. That means that these domain extensions are treated the same with regards to any search engine algorithm. With that said however, a .com is obviously the best as it's the legacy domain extension and most users associate it with any web address.
Where you need to be careful is when you decide to use a county code specific domain. If you're in say Ireland and decide to use a .ie extension or you're in Canada and using a .ca extension it WILL be more challenging to reach a wider audience.
But if we are deciding between a .com, .net or .org then NO it does not matter what your domain name extension is. What matters is the quality of your site and your links (among many other variables).

Malicious programs were becoming smarter and more difficult to combat, as malware developers were learning from their past mistakes, and YouAreAnIdiot was a symptom of that.
But to really see how and why this was the case requires going into detail on how the virus rose to prominence and how it actually worked. The earliest form of the program showed up in early 2002, originally known by its more official name “Offiz” and it first appeared on a website. The earliest confirmed website it showed up on was known as youdontknowwhoiam(dot)org. So what did the virus actually do?
Well, it wasn’t technically a virus at all. It didn’t use your computer to spread to other ones. This technology is called JavaScript. This wasn’t just writing code. This was the closest thing you could get to making something that was alive. Something that could almost think for itself. With JavaScript, you were playing God on the internet, so why not use it to cause mayhem as well? But this virus didn’t just take advantage of that. It also had another somewhat new and growing technology under its sleeve: the flash player. Combine these two forces and you are virtually unstoppable. Any user curious enough to click on the website’s window would be greeted with the famous animation we’ve all grown to recognize. Thanks to the JavaScript, any further attempt to exit the page, whether it be by refreshing or clicking the x button, will spawn six more smaller windows displaying the same animation, all playing at once. You’re not getting off that easy though. The script has programmed the windows to bounce around the page, so good luck exiting out, and even if you do get rid of one, six more will pop up once again. You now 11 windows on your computer calling you an idiot, and your speakers are just getting louder. You try using some hotkeys to forcefully shut down your browser, but now you just have text windows calling you an idiot. Before you know it, the windows have multiplied exponentially, and your computer’s resources are being used up. Your system is so slow you can barely even move the mouse anymore. You can’t even open task manager it’s so slow. Now you have no choice but to take the last resort and shut down your computer through physically pushing the power button.

It really does not matter what your domain name extension is with regards to .com, .net or a .org.

A .net, .org and a .com are all top level domain names, same with a .co. That means that these domain extensions are treated the same with regards to any search engine algorithm. With that said however, a .com is obviously the best as it's the legacy domain extension and most users associate it with any web address.
Where you need to be careful is when you decide to use a county code specific domain. If you're in say Ireland and decide to use a .ie extension or you're in Canada and using a .ca extension it WILL be more challenging to reach a wider audience.
But if we are deciding between a .com, .net or .org then NO it does not matter what your domain name extension is. What matters is the quality of your site and your links (among many other variables).
Just make sure to always check first. If you see the .com is taken, but the .net or .org is available go for it so long as the .com is being squatted on (meaning it's simply owned but not in use).

There are more than 200 domain extensions to choose from today and it's not always easy to figure out which one is the right one for you.
We dive into when you should use a .com and when you should use a .de, .co.uk, or .org for your site.
There are some use cases for each type of domain extension and it's important to know when to use the right one. For several reasons.
Your site will have more success in regards to SEO (search engine optimization) if you choose the right domain extension. Google doesn't really care which one you use but USERS tend to click more often on .com when they are expecting a bigger site.
On the other hand, we see language-specific domain extensions to do well for content that is intended for that country only. Except for when we're targeting an English speaking audience. I'm talking specifically about countries such as U.K, Australia, Nigeria, South Africa here.

In 2004, a website known as youareanidiot(dot)org rose to prominence across the internet, where it was home to what is now recognized as the You Are An Idiot computer virus (mostly known as "YouAreAnIdiot" or "Offiz"). However, many people first visiting the site had no idea what they were getting themselves into, and the story goes even deeper than that.
The YouAreAnIdiot trojan horse, also known by its official name “Offiz” infected as many as 100,000 people, and it was now making its way around the internet as a topic of heated discussion. A subject people immediately regretted becoming acquainted with, its presence just continuing to grow. It wasn’t long until people were claiming that their entire hard drives were being permanently erased and damaged beyond repair. What exactly was going on? How did the story of YouAreAnIdiot go from exhausting tech support threads within online forums into becoming an internet legend?
Well, properly answering that question requires a bit of historical context. We need to go all the way back to the year 2002. The internet is still in its fledgling phase, with the vestiges of the 90s, but it is growing at an alarming rate, as well as getting smarter and more sophisticated every day. This goes for both the technological aspects of the internet, as well as human behavior. The internet is becoming more because people are demanding more, for better and for worse. Not only was it improving on user convenience, it was learning to solve problems users had been yearning to get fixed for years, as well as solving problems users didn’t even know that they had. But this came at the expense of creating new problems, some of which were previously almost unheard of. Malicious programs were becoming smarter and more difficult to combat, as malware developers were learning from their past mistakes, and YouAreAnIdiot was a symptom of that.
But to really see how and why this was the case requires going into detail on how the virus rose to prominence and how it actually worked. The earliest form of the program showed up in early 2002, originally known by its more official name “Offiz” and it first appeared on a website. The earliest confirmed website it showed up on was known as youdontknowwhoiam(dot)org. So what did the virus actually do?
Well, it wasn’t technically a virus at all. It didn’t use your computer to spread to other ones. It was a trojan horse, a program that pretends to look nice and innocent, but causes harm to your computer once you activate it, but of course the vernacular for layman computer users is to call anything malicious a virus, so people just stuck with that. We mentioned that this virus was one of many components which formed from the early internet’s ongoing evolution, and that’s because it took advantage of a relatively new technology that was only becoming more complex by the year. This technology is called JavaScript. This wasn’t just writing code. This was the closest thing you could get to making something that was alive. Something that could almost think for itself. With JavaScript, you were playing God on the internet, so why not use it to cause mayhem as well? But this virus didn’t just take advantage of that. It also had another somewhat new and growing technology under its sleeve: the flash player. Combine these two forces and you are virtually unstoppable. Any user curious enough to click on the website’s window would be greeted with the famous animation we’ve all grown to recognize. Thanks to the JavaScript, any further attempt to exit the page, whether it be by refreshing or clicking the x button, will spawn six more smaller windows displaying the same animation, all playing at once. You’re not getting off that easy though. The script has programmed the windows to bounce around the page, so good luck exiting out, and even if you do get rid of one, six more will pop up once again. You now 11 windows on your computer calling you an idiot, and your speakers are just getting louder. You try using some hotkeys to forcefully shut down your browser, but now you just have text windows calling you an idiot. Before you know it, the windows have multiplied exponentially, and your computer’s resources are being used up. Your system is so slow you can barely even move the mouse anymore. You can’t even open task manager it’s so slow. Now you have no choice but to take the last resort and shut down your computer through physically pushing the power button.
