Building on its growing family of AccuStock, AccuFit, AccuTrigger outfitted Model 110 bolt actions, Savage has produced its crown jewel for hardcore hunters. All metalwork is stainless steel and coated with Coyote Brown PVD, a coating thought superior to Cerakote. At only 2-4 microns thick, PVD can be used on parts with extremely tight tolerances. A spiral fluted bolt and barrel are classy touches that go beyond the aesthetic to both shave weight and aid in heat dissipation. The True Timber Strata camouflaged stock makes use of the adjustable AccuFit system for both comb and LOP customization. Savage’s AccuTrigger is user adjustable, and the AccuStock means there’s an internal chassis supporting the action for unprecedented factory performance and downrange accuracy. Depending upon caliber, the heavy contour barrels are either 22-inch or 24-inch and topped with a threaded muzzle. Magnum calibers include a muzzle brake. The initial run of High Country rifles will include eleven calibers: .243 Win, .308 Win, 7mm-08 Rem, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, .270 Win, .280 Ackley Improved, .30-06 Spfld, 7mm Rem Mag, .300 Win Mag, and .300 WSM. Regardless of caliber, the detachable box magazine holds four rounds and carries the same suggested retail price of $1,129, though real-world prices are already under a grand.

We spent a week up there over x-mas and new year’s exploring around and re visiting and finding new places to adventure, we really enjoyed the trip and will be back up there many in the near future.

High country (New Zealand)
High country is a New Zealand term for the elevated pastoral land of the South Island and - to a lesser extent - North Island of New Zealand. This terrain, which can be compared loosely with the outback of Australia, high veldt of South Africa and pampas of Argentina, lies in the rain shadow of the country's mountain ranges and tends to be extensively farmed land with a continental climate consisting of low rainfall, cold winters and hot summers. Livestock farmed in these regions include sheep and - increasingly - deer and alpaca, and a major ground-covering plant of the area is tussock.
Regions of New Zealand closely associated with the high country include Central Otago and the Mackenzie Basin in the South Island, and parts of the North Island Volcanic Plateau. Much of the land is at a high altitude (hence its name), with the majority of the high country being more than 600 metres (2000 feet) above sea level.
Some high country stations grazed by leasehold farmers are up for tenure review, a process of turning it into freehold or conservation land. A number of conservation issues affect the high country, including wilding conifers, hieracium, soil erosion, and rabbit plagues.

"High Country" is a song by American heavy metal band The Sword. Written by the band and produced by Adrian Quesada, it is the title track to the band's 2015 fifth studio album High Country. It was released as the first single from the album on July 20, 2015.
Composition and style
According to MetalSucks writer Axl Rosenberg, "High Country" is stylistically different from much of the band's previously released material, marking a departure from the comparisons with Black Sabbath for which the band had been known. Rosenberg described the song as "totally retro" and proposed that it was "designed for use with marijuana".
Release and reception
"High Country" was first made available for streaming on the band's website on July 1, 2015, when the title, release date and artwork of the album were first revealed. On July 20, the song was released as the first single from the album, as a limited edition 7" vinyl backed with previously unreleased B-side "Hexenringe". The single was made available at a number of independent record shops across the United States in a run of 1,000 copies, and came with a coupon providing $2 off the album.

Building on its growing family of AccuStock, AccuFit, AccuTrigger outfitted Model 110 bolt actions, Savage has produced its crown jewel for hardcore hunters. All metalwork is stainless steel and coated with Coyote Brown PVD, a coating thought superior to Cerakote. At only 2-4 microns thick, PVD can be used on parts with extremely tight tolerances. A spiral fluted bolt and barrel are classy touches that go beyond the aesthetic to both shave weight and aid in heat dissipation. The True Timber Strata camouflaged stock makes use of the adjustable AccuFit system for both comb and LOP customization. Savage’s AccuTrigger is user adjustable, and the AccuStock means there’s an internal chassis supporting the action for unprecedented factory performance and downrange accuracy. Depending upon caliber, the heavy contour barrels are either 22-inch or 24-inch and topped with a threaded muzzle. Magnum calibers include a muzzle brake. The initial run of High Country rifles will include eleven calibers: .243 Win, .308 Win, 7mm-08 Rem, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, .270 Win, .280 Ackley Improved, .30-06 Spfld, 7mm Rem Mag, .300 Win Mag, and .300 WSM. Regardless of caliber, the detachable box magazine holds four rounds and carries the same suggested retail price of $1,129, though real-world prices are already under a grand.

Building on its growing family of AccuStock, AccuFit, AccuTrigger outfitted Model 110 bolt actions, Savage has produced its crown jewel for hardcore hunters. All metalwork is stainless steel and coated with Coyote Brown PVD, a coating thought superior to Cerakote. At only 2-4 microns thick, PVD can be used on parts with extremely tight tolerances. A spiral fluted bolt and barrel are classy touches that go beyond the aesthetic to both shave weight and aid in heat dissipation. The True Timber Strata camouflaged stock makes use of the adjustable AccuFit system for both comb and LOP customization. Savage’s AccuTrigger is user adjustable, and the AccuStock means there’s an internal chassis supporting the action for unprecedented factory performance and downrange accuracy. Depending upon caliber, the heavy contour barrels are either 22-inch or 24-inch and topped with a threaded muzzle. Magnum calibers include a muzzle brake. The initial run of High Country rifles will include eleven calibers: .243 Win, .308 Win, 7mm-08 Rem, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, .270 Win, .280 Ackley Improved, .30-06 Spfld, 7mm Rem Mag, .300 Win Mag, and .300 WSM. Regardless of caliber, the detachable box magazine holds four rounds and carries the same suggested retail price of $1,129, though real-world prices are already under a grand.
