Orange is a 2012 Malayalam film directed by Biju Varkey who had earlier directed films like Devadasi, Chandranilekkulla Vazhi and Phantom.

Plot

Yakobi (Kalabhavan Mani) is an orphan who works in a dairy farm, where he drives his own lorry on a contract basis. Orange is the name of his lorry. He falls in love with Saritha (Lena) and gets married. His sisters neither relatives did not know about this marriage. Later Saritha gave birth to babygirl Diya (Diya Babu ). Whenever he goes to his native place, his relatives enquire why he is still staying as a bachelor.

As usual when Yakobi was returning to Kambam after visiting his native place, a man asked him a free lift. While continuing their journey Yakobi came to know that his name was Muthu (Prakash Nath) and he was coming to attend an interview for a job in the dairy farm where Yakobi is working. But unfortunately they could not reach the farm within time. Yakobi somehow made arrangements to get a temporary job for Muthu in the dairy farm.

Mind (journal)

Mind is a British peer-reviewed academic journal, currently published by Oxford University Press on behalf of the Mind Association, which deals with philosophy in the analytic tradition. Its institutional home is the University of York.

History and profile

Mind was established in 1876 by the Scottish philosopher Alexander Bain (University of Aberdeen) with his colleague and former student George Croom Robertson (University College London) as editor-in-chief. With the death of Robertson in 1891, George Stout took over the editorship and began a 'New Series'. The current editor is Thomas Baldwin (University of York).

Although the journal now focuses on analytic philosophy, it began as a journal dedicated to the question of whether psychology could be a legitimate natural science. In the first issue, Robertson wrote:

Many famous essays have been published in Mind by such figures as Charles Darwin, J. M. E. McTaggart and Noam Chomsky. Three of the most famous, arguably, are Lewis Carroll's "What the Tortoise Said to Achilles" (1895), Bertrand Russell's "On Denoting" (1905), and Alan Turing's "Computing Machinery and Intelligence" (1950), in which he first proposed the Turing test.

Rain (2006 film)

Rain is a 2006 film directed by Craig DiBona. The screenplay was written by Andrew Neiderman, based on the novel by V. C. Andrews. It premiered at the Palm Beach International Film Festival, although it did not receive further domestic distribution.

Plot

A talented young pianist named Rain (Brooklyn Sudano) is attacked by a vicious street gang which kills her sister. The gang sets out to find Rain while she hides in the care of a woman who is her natural grandmother. Rain was put up for adoption because the father of the baby was black and the mother was from a rich white family. Her adoptive mother (Khandi Alexander) sends her back because she is in danger for having witnessed her adoptive sister's murder.

Rain (SWV song)

"Rain" is a 1998 single released by the group SWV. The musical backing track is based on Jaco Pastorius's "Portrait of Tracy." First heard in 1997 on the group's third album Release Some Tension, the song was released as a single the next year. It peaked at number 25 on the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and number 7 on the US Hot R&B Singles chart. Singer Tyrese appeared in the song's music video. He would later sing the hook on "Pullin' Me Back", a song by rapper Chingy, which sampled "Rain." Smooth Jazz musician Norman Brown covered the song on his 1999 album, Celebration. Toronto based producer duo Team Majestic Music, also sampled "Rain" for their song "Let It Fall."
