Mesabi Range College running back Taquarius Wair will be honored as the 2020 winner of the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance during the ESPYS on June 21. Wair lost four fingers from his left hand, was burned on 55 percent of his body and was in a coma for a month after a fire swept through his Minneapolis home when he was 4 years old in 2005.
