Packed with synth features and rhythmic/arp options to make complex sounds. You will never run out of Oscillators :) 3. Has high quality effects and Oscillators. Didn't Like: 1. Not intuitive for doing quick or simple sounds. 2. CPU use increases significantly when you start pushing it. 3. VERY LITTLE Visual feedback. Bad for precise design. Quick video showing the two different types of bind, some Spektrum receivers support both preset and hold failsafe. The servos are labelled T for Throttle, A for Aileron and E for Elevator - A and E show the failsafe handling for ALL other channels except throttle. Hold failsafe - throttle goes to bind position (idle), all other channels hold last position when signal lost. Preset failsafe - all channels go to bind position when signal lost. The two binding procedures are: Preset Failsafe (where supported) power receiver with bind plug inserted, then immediately remove bind plug before switching on Tx with bind pressed. Hold failsafe power receiver with bind plug inserted and leave bind plug in while switching on Tx with bind pressed. List of receivers shown in video and the failsafe's they support below: Spektrum AR7610 - Both preset and Hold failsafe OrangeRX R800X - Both preset and Hold failsafe (I also have AR8000 which supports both preset and hold failsafe) OrangeRX R615 - only hold failsafe Spektrum AR6210 - only hold failsafe Spektrum AR6100e - Only Preset failsafe For most small models, there probably isn't much to choose, as depending on the exact circumstances where signal is lost, either may be good or bad. For GPS quadcopters with return home feature, a preset failsafe ensures the quad will return home if signal is lost, so is a big plus, you can workaround this with Naza by using Heli model type, and throttle channel for U (flight mode select) and pitch/Aux1 channel for Naza throttle, this way you are using your 'preset failsafe' throttle channel to select return home flight mode, set flat throttle curves for your flight modes (GPS/atti/manual) and flat hold throttle position for failsafe/return home. I posted another video on Naza transmitter setup which goes through this and how to safely check failsafe on the bench with props removed. My advice is to make sure you understand the two types of failsafe, and select the most appropriate one for your aircraft, also make sure you test this on the ground (with props removed for safety), so you KNOW what your model will do in the case of signal loss before it happens. Hope this is useful.

Presets can be bought and then downloaded online, downloaded for free on various online platforms and they can be created. We are not going to be looking at downloading or creating the presets as that is out of the scope of this tutorial. In this tutorial, I am assuming that you have Lightroom installed, have a program that can unzip compressed files, you have downloaded a zip file with the presets or have preset files available on your computer and that you know how to navigate the folder structure of your computer be it a Mac or a PC. Without further ado, the steps: 1. Open Lightroom and open any image that you have on your computer. This is important because we will be using this image to see if the presets were installed correctly and that they work. 2. Ensure that you have gone to the develop module as shown below. Note that the active module will have white text while the modules that are unselected have grey font color. 3. After you are inside “Develop”, you will see a box of presets on your left as shown below: This box shows all of the presets that you already have installed in your Lightroom application. This is where the presets you install will be listed. 4. Now we need to go into the folder where you have the zip file of the presets downloaded into. If your presets are not inside a zip file, skip this step. For those who have their presets inside a zip file, extract them to a folder that you can access easily. For those whose presets are already unzipped or were not sipped in the first place, ensure to make note of the folder your presets reside in. Also note that Lightroom presets have an “lrtemplate” file extension 5. Go back to Lightroom and have your cursor hover anywhere inside the grey presets box. Do not left click on anything but rather right click inside this box if you are on PC or hold down command and left click. When you do, this menu will pop up: Click on new folder, enter the name of the folder where your presets will reside in. When you click create, you will see it added to the left hand side in your list of preset folders. 6. Now right click, on a PC, or hold control and left click, on a mac, on the name of the folder you have just created and left click on import. Once you do you will be taken to your file explorer where you will need to navigate to the folder where your presets reside. 7. Making sure you are in the right folder inside your file explorer, select all of the presets that you would like to import. After making the selection, click on import. 8. You will now be taken back to Lightroom where, depending on your computer speed, the presets will take a few seconds to be listed inside the folder you crated inside the presets box. 9. After you see the names of the imported presets, it is just a matter of testing these presets using the images we selected in the first step. Click on a name of a preset to apply it. http://www.infoparrot.com/how-to-install-lightroom-presets/ Learn how to install presets for Lightroom 5/6 on both MAC and PC. You can do this same thing by right-clicking in the middle of your workspace with your brush selected.4. If you have a tablet like a Wacom tablet, you can click the Bristle Brush Preview button in the bottom right corner of the panel to bring up a window that shows you the angle at which you hold your pen in relation to the tablet, as well as the pressure you apply to the tablet.5. There is also an icon in the upper right corner of the panel to toggle the Brush Panel.6. In the panel menu area, there are different groupings of brushes such as Assorted Brushes, Basic Brushes, Calligraphic Brushes, etc. Choosing any one of these will bring up a dialogue box asking you to choose Append, Cancel or OK. Append adds the brush set that is selected to the current set that is open. Choosing OK will make the current set go away and show only the set you've just chosen.7. To create your own brush set by first showing only the brushes you wish to keep in the panel. Click on the Panel Menu and choose Save Brushes. Once saved, you can go back into the Panel Menu and choose Load Brushes to load the brush presets you just saved. The Load option will always Append the brushes to the end of whatever set you have open. Read more by visiting our page at: http://www.mahalo.com/learn-adobe-photoshop-brush-presets/

Make crazy selections no matter how precise they are using channels in Photoshop. In this video, we'll learn how to replace skies by utilizing channels for mask information and select detailed objects like grass and trees or even hair very simply. This method of making selections is like the last resort. When nothing works, be it "Select and Mask" or "Select Color Range", channels are powerful sources of creating masks to make that selection. This can be done by creating an alpha channel which is additional channel besides RGB or CMYK to hold complex masking information. Along the way, while we replace skies, we'll also look into some tips and tricks on matching the skies with the image. ► SUBSCRIBE: https://goo.gl/iaROYY If you think you can help, entertain or even disturb someone by sharing this channel's video. ENTER MY SERUM VST GIVEAWAY ($189 Value Synth) - http://seribeats.com --- Overall Omnisphere 2 is dope but definitely not something I would use consistently other than for the presets. Even after I got used to the interface it didn't feel intuitive for sound design. Here's what I liked and didn't like about it... Liked: 1. Huge library and huge selection of presets and packs. 2. In this photoshop photography tutorial, I'll show you how to get shallow depth of field (DOF) to your photos in photoshop. ►Download PSD file: http://photoshopdesire.com/get-shallow-depth-field-digital-photos-photoshop/ ►Download Photo to Practice: https://www.flickr.com/photos/psdesire/38434513585 The definition of depth of field is the Distance between the nearest and farthest objects in a scene that appear acceptably sharp in an image. Everything outside of the depth of field gets gradually blurred, the closer or farther it is from the camera. Let's see how to achieve this effect in Photoshop. First open the photo you would like to work on. Duplicate background layer CTRL/CMD+j and rename the layer to "CUTOUT SUBJECT". Now choose select and mask tool. I'm using ps cc 2017 version, if your version doesn't contain select and mask tool then you may use refine edge tool. Select view mode to your liking, I’ve already chosen to use On overlay mode. Take Quick Selection Tool. click & drag on the subject to select. The selection you make doesn’t need to be precise, because the Quick Selection tool automatically and instinctively creates a border. Take subtract selection tool and remove unnecessary selections. Use the Output layer mask Settings. Click the OK button. We successfully cut out main subject from its background. To see layer mask itself, hold down Alt/Opt key and click on layer mask thumbnail. You may notice some areas that needed some touch up. Take soft edged brush. select black color and paint on areas to clean. Now we need to remove main subject from the background. To do that duplicate background layer CTRL + J and rename layer to "REMOVE SUBJECT". Hold CTRL Key and Click on layer mask to load a selection. Go to select - modify - expand the selection by 5-10pixels. Now go to edit menu and fill the selection with content aware tool. Deselect the selection CTRL + D. Convert layer to smart object. Now we need to blur the nearest and farthest areas in the layer. so go to filter menu - blur gallery - select tilt shift. We need to keep the main subject sharp and in focus. So move the pin around, simply click on its center and drag it to a legs position, then release the mouse button. Now adjust blur amount to your preference. If you want to add light bokeh then adjust light bokeh and light range sliders Once you are happy with depth of field, click OK. Final step add color lookup adjustment to color tone the image. Select any color preset to your liking. That's it. we're done. Create Realistic shallow depth of field photoshop - tips, ideas, techniques. shallow depth of field photography. Learn how to use compression: http://learncompression.com Learn to mix hip-hop: http://mixinghiphop.com Improve your ears: http://quiztones.com Mixing tips: http://theproaudiofiles.com How to configure your Pro Tools recording sessions in to make it easier to jump around from one section to another. Also, how to focus on individual instruments or groups of instruments if you're going to be doing some editing. --- Transcript: I'm gonna demonstrate some tricks that you can use to configure your recording sessions inside of Pro Tools to make it easier to do things like jump around from one section of your song to another section of your song. Or do things like focus on individual instruments or groups of instruments if you know that you're going to be doing a lot of editing of them. Now it does take a bit of extra work on the front end to set up your session to do all these things, however if you do it, a lot of times this can, in fact, speed up a lot of your workflow for the remaining time that you're having to edit in that session. First is how you can use memory locations to do a bunch of different things. Also how to use zoom presets. So let's first start out with the memory locations. Many people are familiar with the basics of memory locations and what you can use them for, so for instance, as the name would suggest, you can have your computer kind of memorize the different locations or store in it's memory the parts of your song that you're interests in marking. So if you want to make the introduction, the chorus, and the verse, it's just a matter of bringing the playback head or the cursor to that location and marking it. On my computer keyboard I can use function and enter, that's gonna create a location. I'll call this intro. Next up is my first verse. I know that it's at this location right here. And create another one, call it verse 1. My chorus comes in right here. I can continue to do this for the remainder of the different sections of my song. And then, all you have to do is just click on these different memory locations, and the playback head will jump to those different parts. So if you just wanna quickly jump to the first verse — listen to that. Jump to the chorus. Or the intro. This is kind of the simplest way that you can use memory locations, so I'll come back to these in a little while, and show you some more advanced features of how to use memory locations. Next up though I want to show you zoom presets. The idea with zoom presets is you can set the relative level that you've either zoomed in or zoomed out on your session and set them to hot keys, or buttons up here. So, for instance, the most basic way to zoom is to use the zoom tool. You can zoom in and out like this. You hold the Option key, you can zoom out. So, the way that I like to do it in my sessions is to kind of start from a global perspective for the broad big picture view of my session and set this to one of the zoom presets and then kind of zoom in at these different levels and set them as different presets. [removed] Coming back to memory locations now. You can use memory locations not only just to mark the different places of your song, but to actually zoom to that section of your song too, so it's kind of like a zoom preset and memory location in one. Let me show you that. I'm gonna zoom in and just focus on this part of my song. So I'll zoom in really far, fill the screen with this chorus. Go back to my memory locations window. I'm gonna create a new one now. Call this chorus 2. Now, what I had selected before is just this marker. You can actually do things like move on and use a selection tool. What this is gonna do is allow me to set a location or a memory and store in memory the fact that I have selected with the cursor just chorus 2. So if I've got it in loop record, I don't have to go in and find that location of the song and drag it out (the cursor) just to focus on that area. I just set up that selection right here. I can go in and click on zoom settings now. And click ok. I've got chorus 2, you'll see that it's got different things over here for the selection zoom. That way now, if I go back to a different part of my song: verse 1, now I click on chorus 2, it zooms me right back in on that chorus and then it's highlighted that part so that I can just listen back just to that part if that's the way I want to edit it. In this photo editing tutorial, learn how to add a smooth blur to your photo backgrounds easily in photoshop. Fantasy soft light blurring effect. ►Download PSD file: http://photoshopdesire.com/blur-photo-background-like-costly-lens-photoshop/ ►Download Stock Photo: https://www.flickr.com/photos/psdesire/37569513776/ First open the photo you would like to work on. Now choose select and mask tool. i'm using ps cc 2017 version, if your version doesn't contain select and mask tool then you may use refine edge tool. select view mode to your liking, I’ve already chosen to use On overlay mode. Take Quick Selection Tool. click & drag the area you want to select. The mark you make doesn’t need to be precise, because the Quick Selection tool automatically and instinctively creates a border. Now we will want to have a look at our mask radius, so tick this "Show Radius" checkbox. if you increase the "Radius" value sightly, you will see a outline appearing - that's the edge of our mask. In this case i will set radius at 8px. If your image has both sharp and soft edges, select Smart Radius. Untick show radius option. Now use the "Refine Edge Brush Tool" to refine edges. Brush over soft areas such as hair to add fine details to the selection. When you've completed brushing the edges, take subtract selection tool and delete unnecessary selections. Finally, tick the Decontaminate Colours box to remove any color fringing with the color of fully selected nearby pixels. use the Output Settings. I almost always use New Layer with Layer Mask. Click the OK button, and you’re done. we successfully cut out main subject from its background. To see layer mask itself, hold down Alt/Opt key and click on layer mask thumbnail. If we zoom in, you may notice some areas that needed some touchup. Take soft brush and change brush blending mode to overlay. select black color and paint on areas to clean. Now we need to remove main subject from the background. To do that duplicate background layer CTRL + J Simply select the subject using lasso tool. Now go to edit menu and fill the selection with content aware tool. Deselect the selection CTRL + D. Now we need to add lens blur to the layer. go to filter menu, select lens blur. Add blur radius to your preference. Image looks good enough. But i will add color lookup adjustments to make image more beautiful. i will choose fall colors look to color tone the image. That's it. Learn how to align anything to center of almost everything in Photoshop with a very easy and amazing technique. Using this Photoshop shortcut, you can align layer in center, selection to center, image in center, object and put text in center perfectly. ►SUBSCRIBE: https://goo.gl/94umrc Moving your image to center using your intuition is dangerous, you are bound to miss a pixel here and there if not more. This technique allows Photoshop to center objects automatically and accurately, pixel by pixel. In this video, we are going to learn one basic method that will solve all your centering problems in Photoshop. To demonstrate, I have 6 examples to show you on what conditions you might use this technique. It is easy to align anything to the center of the whole canvas. Of course you can use guides and your objects will snap to the center if that feature is on. But what if you want to center anything in the middle of an object, image or mask or any other thing? That's when this technique comes into play. No more using arrow keys again and again to make sure that you image is in center. In the first example, we are going to align text to center. To do this, we will make sure that the text layer is selected, and then, we will make a selection of the whole canvas or the document either using the rectangular marquee tool or using the shortcut Ctrl/Command + A. Then, we'll go ahead and select the move tool. Upon selecting the move tool, there will appear a bunch of icons on the toolbar, all of them determine the position of the layer selected. We will simply click on align horizontally and align vertically button and the image will automatically align itself. In the second example, we will align and center an object in Photoshop. Here too, the same steps will be applied. Similarly if you want to center an image, simply import the image and follow the same steps. But the real trick comes into action when we want to center an object, text or image in the center of another object. Suppose you have created a frame in the middle of which you want to center you image. Or, maybe you have created a rectangle box or placeholder for text, and you want to center your text in the middle of the rectangle either vertically or horizontally or both. In that case, instead of selecting the whole canvas, we will have to make a selection only around that object and follow the same steps. Now, how to select the object? Press and hold Ctrl/Command and click on the object layer. Similarly, I'll also explain how you can create end points in the middle of which you desire to keep your object. Hope this video helps you and if it did, make sure to give us a thumbs up and do subscribe for more videos like this in future. Keep Creating!

Click and drag the layer and place it on the image that you want to replace. Adjust Hue/Saturation to match the colors with the below background photo. Select Free Transform tool and scale the abs to match the size with the original. Reduce the opacity to see through the layer and position the abs perfectly in the middle of the abdomen. Take eraser tool and delete edges that extended over the clothing. Once you're happy with the position and size then get the opacity back to 100%. Duplicate background layer CTRL/CMD+J. Hold CTRL/CMD key and click on abs layer to load selection. Go to select - Modify - contract the select by 5-7px. Go to edit and clear the selection from background copy layer. Apply high pass to make the abs details integrate into the Body. Apply gaussian blur to add Softness to Highlight and Shadow of the shapes. Change layer blending to soft light. Add layer mask to the layer. Apply image on a layer mask to make the effect applied only to lighter parts of the body which means the lighter parts of the image will be visible and the darker parts will be invisible. The latest firmware for the Intellijel Cylonix Shapeshifter adds and improves a huge list of features. This video gives a short demonstration of what's new in 2.02. Version 2.02 Changed: encoder selection for CHORD TYPE or BANK now wraps around the entire list but quick rotation will shortcut you (stop) at the list end or beginning. Version 2.01.1 Fixed: COMB+LOAD operation to initialize all settings to zero. Version 2.01 Added: the CHORD TYPE parameter can now be controlled by the MODB signal. Added: the wave bank selection for oscillators 1 and 2 can now be controlled by the MODB signal. Added: the two oscillators now have independently selectable SYNC MODES, and both now have 1-shot and Hold modes. Added: pressing the INT. SYNC button twice causes the internal sync event generator to drop in frequency by one octave (the INT. SYNC LED flashes when this mode is selected). Added: when the QUANT. button is pressed twice the PITCH2 input becomes a CLOCK input for oscillator 2, where the period of the oscillator 2 cycle is equal to the input clock period. The QUANT. led flashes in this mode. In this mode the RATIO input sets the clock division/multiplication factor. Added: 8 more pulse modes, including PWM, Square and random. Added: added another mode to the PRESET STEP menu, where the preset is randomized on each step. Added: pressing COMBO MODE and MORPH while in PRESET MODE randomizes the settings. Added: pressing DETUNE and LOAD while in PRESET MODE displays the firmware version. Added: the oscillator 2 output can be directed to modulate the SHAPE1 or TILT parameters. Added: the MODA signal can now be used to serve as the SYNC source for oscillator 2 or to step presets. Changed: the DECAY parameter range has been changed to give a smoother change with more values at longer decay times. Changed: the PERC. MODE LED now flashes when the Gate behaviour is selected (by pressing the PERC. MODE button twice). Changed: the initial part of the INT. FM control curve has been changed to give more resolution at the low end. Changed: the number of presets has been increased to 100 and all presets are now stored in non-volatile memory. The presets now have user-definable 8-character labels, which can be randomized. Changed: the number of the last preset to be loaded or saved is remembered, and is loaded upon powerup (previously preset# 1 was loaded on powerup). Changed: the range of the TILT parameter has been lowered by a factor of 4. This gives more resolution in the interesting range of the tilt effect. Changed: the bank numbers and chord type no longer wrap around, making it easier to reach the ends. Changed: knobs are set to soft-pickup after a preset is loaded, even when leaving preset mode. Soft-pickup action is changed so that the knob takes over from the preset value when it is moved a little bit. Changed: the labels for the MODA destinations “Shape1” and “Shape2” have been changed to “Shaper1” and “Shaper2” to better reflect the actual behaviour in these modes. Fixed: Added a short (4msec) delay to the MODB Preset Stepping after the sync pulse is received. This is needed because many sequencers send the gate signal before the voltage has settled to its new value.

Today's tutorial looks at the Refine Edge feature in Photoshop, and how it can drastically improve your selections that contain hair and/or fur. Support my content: http://www.patreon.com/howardpinsky Tools used in this tutorial: Color Range: If you're looking to select all or most of a single color in your image, Color Range will help you do that. It lets you automatically target pure colors, or sample specific colors using the eye dropper. To add to your sample, hold down shift. To subtract, hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac). Pressing OK will create the selection. Refine Edge: When you initially create a selection, it's likely to be very sharp around the edges, and likely won't contain hair or fur. Refine Edge will allow you to not only soften out those edges, but you'll be able to use Smart Radius to grab hair and fur which may not have been selected.
