Plot: Apocalypse Sonata is a metaphor on that which we are all chasing. Is it fame? is money? is it power? or is it simply finding out who we really are? This short film invites the viewer to hold a mirror up to them selves as it relates to what they value most. I have been there, I have made that choice and put that first. Everyone who see this short will get something different from it because at it's core Apocalypse Sonata is a Metaphor on the basics of the human condition. If you watch honestly by the end you should be asking your self, what's in my case?

Plot: In 1880's China, young Lalu is sold into marriage by her impoverished father. Plot: Col. Jessup (Susan Sarandon), an American military nurse, presents a case for a bronze medal with Valor to a military hearing. She tells her story of being taken prisoner in the Phillipines by the Japanese during WWII. Having survived a death march from Bataan Col. Jessup is put into a POW camp run by the enemy. She and her fellow prisoners struggle for survival, working 14 hour days with limited food and no medical supplies. After almost three years the prisoners are liberated by American forces.
