Lalo puts a plan in motion to fake his death, and Nacho runs away with no one he can trust. Jimmy and Kim start to go after Howard Hamlin to try to force HHM and Davis and Main to settle the Sandpiper case. Gus is stuck after he’s failed assassination attempt and trying to figure out what to do to keep the cartel from discovering what he did. The premiere episode broke from tradition and didn’t open with a scene featuring Gene Takavic in Omaha. Instead we got a look inside Saul Goodman’s house after the events of Breaking Bad. This was an interesting surprise that brought up a lot of questions about the private life of the character we had only seen working for Walter White. In episode 2 things get worse for Nacho as the cartel learns his location. Jim and Kimmy use the Kettlemans to spread a rumor about Howard. Kim is pushing things and taking the lead in their planning. This is a different side of the character, and it may lead to a fall. In the final 13 episodes, we’ll find out why Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) isn’t in Jimmy’s life in Breaking Bad. We’ll learn the fates of Nacho Varga (Michael Mando) and Lalo Salamanca (Tony Dalton).
