We sincerely apologise in regards to the timer issues we have been experiencing at the GBB19. Once the problem appeared live at the event, we immediately began troubleshooting to solve the issue with all the resources we had at hand. Unfortunately we were unable to solve it immediately, and a few showcases and battles were affected by this, such as Elisii’s elimination and this battle with MB14 and B-Art. We were unable to find a specific reason as to why this happened, as we tested everything prior to the event beginning and it all worked perfectly. We suspect a bug with the visual software that we were using, but we are still unsure.
We are very sorry to all the artists that experienced this issue on stage, and apologise sincerely to everyone that watched both the livestream and the produced videos. We hope you can accept our apology! Everyone affected had to beatbox longer than planned, which we truly believe is not acceptable. We will do our best to never let this happen again in the future!

The authors from Facebook AI propose a new pre-training objective for sequence models as denoising autoencoder. It can be viewed as corrupting text with some arbitrary noise function while the Language Model is expected to denoise it. Watch video to know more :)
⏩ Abstract: We present BART, a denoising autoencoder for pretraining sequence-to-sequence models. BART is trained by (1) corrupting text with an arbitrary noising function, and (2) learning a model to reconstruct the original text. It uses a standard Tranformer-based neural machine translation architecture which, despite its simplicity, can be seen as generalizing BERT (due to the bidirectional encoder), GPT (with the left-to-right decoder), and many other more recent pretraining schemes. We evaluate a number of noising approaches, finding the best performance by both randomly shuffling the order of the original sentences and using a novel in-filling scheme, where spans of text are replaced with a single mask token. BART is particularly effective when fine tuned for text generation but also works well for comprehension tasks. It matches the performance of RoBERTa with comparable training resources on GLUE and SQuAD, achieves new state-of-the-art results on a range of abstractive dialogue, question answering, and summarization tasks, with gains of up to 6 ROUGE. BART also provides a 1.1 BLEU increase over a back-translation system for machine translation, with only target language pretraining. We also report ablation experiments that replicate other pretraining schemes within the BART framework, to better measure which factors most influence end-task performance.

The first of The Dark Simpsons Minisode. Bart embarrasses himself in front of the town and it slowly eats away at him. Nobody will let him forget it, so he has to take drastic measures.
This was my first attempt at making a 5 minute video, and I'll say I did succeed but when I went back and reviewed my work, I found that I was adding unnecessary content just to reach that 5 minute goal. That was a problem, becuase some of the clips were actually quite weak, so I cut some clips out and brought it down to 4 minutes. And i must say, I think this video turned out quite well.
I used all of the tricks i've learned from my past videos and applied it here. I changed background colors, edit out characters, lip synced voices, photoshop scenes and more to make a nice short mini episode. I'll definitiely be making more of these longer ones in the future.

History
In 1925, Shueisha was created by major publishing company Shogakukan (founded in 1922). In 1927, two novels titled Danshi Ehon, and Joshi Ehon were created. In 1928, Shueisha was hired to edit Gendai Yūmoa Zenshū (現代ユーモア全集), a compilation of the author's works. Gendai Yūmoa Zenshū continued 12 volumes, some issues being Joshi Shinjidai ei Shūji Chō and Shinjidai ei Shūji Chō (新時代英習字帳). The first of The Dark Simpsons Minisode. Bart embarrasses himself in front of the town and it slowly eats away at him. Nobody will let him forget it, so he has to take drastic measures. This was my first attempt at making a 5 minute video, and I'll say I did succeed but when I went back and reviewed my work, I found that I was adding unnecessary content just to reach that 5 minute goal. That was a problem, becuase some of the clips were actually quite weak, so I cut some clips out and brought it down to 4 minutes. And i must say, I think this video turned out quite well. I used all of the tricks i've learned from my past videos and applied it here. I changed background colors, edit out characters, lip synced voices, photoshop scenes and more to make a nice short mini episode. I'll defini...

We are very sorry to all the artists that experienced this issue on stage, and apologise sincerely to everyone that watched both the livestream and the produced videos. We hope you can accept our apology! Everyone affected had to beatbox longer than planned, which we truly believe is not acceptable. We will do our best to never let this happen again in the future!

The authors from Facebook AI propose a new pre-training objective for sequence models as denoising autoencoder. It can be viewed as corrupting text with some arbitrary noise function while the Language Model is expected to denoise it. Watch video to know more :)
⏩ Abstract: We present BART, a denoising autoencoder for pretraining sequence-to-sequence models. BART is trained by (1) corrupting text with an arbitrary noising function, and (2) learning a model to reconstruct the original text. It uses a standard Tranformer-based neural machine translation architecture which, despite its simplicity, can be seen as generalizing BERT (due to the bidirectional encoder), GPT (with the left-to-right decoder), and many other more recent pretraining schemes. We evaluate a number of noising approaches, finding the best performance by both randomly shuffling the order of the original sentences and using a novel in-filling scheme, where spans of text are replaced with a single mask token. BART is particularly effective when fine tuned for text generation but also works well for comprehension tasks. It matches the performance of RoBERTa with comparable training resources on GLUE and SQuAD, achieves new state-of-the-art results on a range of abstractive dialogue, question answering, and summarization tasks, with gains of up to 6 ROUGE. BART also provides a 1.1 BLEU increase over a back-translation system for machine translation, with only target language pretraining. We also report ablation experiments that replicate other pretraining schemes within the BART framework, to better measure which factors most influence end-task performance.

The first of The Dark Simpsons Minisode. Bart embarrasses himself in front of the town and it slowly eats away at him. Nobody will let him forget it, so he has to take drastic measures.
This was my first attempt at making a 5 minute video, and I'll say I did succeed but when I went back and reviewed my work, I found that I was adding unnecessary content just to reach that 5 minute goal. That was a problem, becuase some of the clips were actually quite weak, so I cut some clips out and brought it down to 4 minutes. And i must say, I think this video turned out quite well.
I used all of the tricks i've learned from my past videos and applied it here. I changed background colors, edit out characters, lip synced voices, photoshop scenes and more to make a nice short mini episode. I'll definitiely be making more of these longer ones in the future.

We sincerely apologise in regards to the timer issues we have been experiencing at the GBB19. Once the problem appeared live at the event, we immediately began troubleshooting to solve the issue with all the resources we had at hand. Unfortunately we were unable to solve it immediately, and a few showcases and battles were affected by this, such as Elisii’s elimination and this battle with MB14 and B-Art. We were unable to find a specific reason as to why this happened, as we tested everything prior to the event beginning and it all worked perfectly. We suspect a bug with the visual software that we were using, but we are still unsure.
We are very sorry to all the artists that experienced this issue on stage, and apologise sincerely to everyone that watched both the livestream and the produced videos. We hope you can accept our apology! Everyone affected had to beatbox longer than planned, which we truly believe is not acceptable. We will do our best to never let this happen again in the future!

The authors from Facebook AI propose a new pre-training objective for sequence models as denoising autoencoder. It can be viewed as corrupting text with some arbitrary noise function while the Language Model is expected to denoise it. Watch video to know more :)
⏩ Abstract: We present BART, a denoising autoencoder for pretraining sequence-to-sequence models. BART is trained by (1) corrupting text with an arbitrary noising function, and (2) learning a model to reconstruct the original text. It uses a standard Tranformer-based neural machine translation architecture which, despite its simplicity, can be seen as generalizing BERT (due to the bidirectional encoder), GPT (with the left-to-right decoder), and many other more recent pretraining schemes. We evaluate a number of noising approaches, finding the best performance by both randomly shuffling the order of the original sentences and using a novel in-filling scheme, where spans of text are replaced with a single mask token. BART is particularly effective when fine tuned for text generation but also works well for comprehension tasks. It matches the performance of RoBERTa with comparable training resources on GLUE and SQuAD, achieves new state-of-the-art results on a range of abstractive dialogue, question answering, and summarization tasks, with gains of up to 6 ROUGE. BART also provides a 1.1 BLEU increase over a back-translation system for machine translation, with only target language pretraining. We also report ablation experiments that replicate other pretraining schemes within the BART framework, to better measure which factors most influence end-task performance.

The first of The Dark Simpsons Minisode. Bart embarrasses himself in front of the town and it slowly eats away at him. Nobody will let him forget it, so he has to take drastic measures.
This was my first attempt at making a 5 minute video, and I'll say I did succeed but when I went back and reviewed my work, I found that I was adding unnecessary content just to reach that 5 minute goal. That was a problem, becuase some of the clips were actually quite weak, so I cut some clips out and brought it down to 4 minutes. And i must say, I think this video turned out quite well.
I used all of the tricks i've learned from my past videos and applied it here. I changed background colors, edit out characters, lip synced voices, photoshop scenes and more to make a nice short mini episode. I'll definitiely be making more of these longer ones in the future.
