Blackout (German: 380.000 Volt – Der große Stromausfall) is a German film directed by Sebastian Vigg. It was released in 2010.
Winston Thomas, better known by his stage name BlackOut or DJ BlackOut, founder & CEO of BlackOut Movement, is an American Grammy Nominated record producer, engineer and composer. Blackout is signed to Nicki Minaj's recording company.
BlackOut was born Winston Thomas in Freeport, NY. The son of a deejay, BlackOut has been on the turntables from an early age. He got his start working high school parties and local clubs in the New York area. It was in the club that he got his first break and met Wyclef Jean. Blackout joined the Refugee Camp as a deejay for the artist, Reptile, and got his first taste of touring in the music industry. During his time with the Refugee Camp, Blackout began dabbling in production and made it his hobby. It wasn’t long before he became a staple in the deejay industry and began playing gigs nationwide. He eventually became linked with Jada Kiss and toured with him for three years. While playing a gig in a South Beach club, D.J. Blackout slipped a CD of beats to hip hop artist, Ja Rule. This chance meeting would mark the beginning of Blackout’s career as a music producer. One of BlackOut's beats was selected to be on Ja Rule's Blood In My Eye Album. Soon after, BlackOut started his own production company Blackout Movement. Full steam ahead, BlackOut and his new company catapulted to the top of the game 1 year later when the company produced the debut album from hip-hop artist Mims, including the widely popular single “This Is Why I'm Hot”. Blackout Movement has since worked with some of the leading artists in the industry. In 2012, Blackout signed to Nicki Minaj's, yet to be named, record label.
The Blackout (also written BLKOUT) were a professional wrestling stable appearing in Combat Zone Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Unplugged, and other independent companies. Though the current members in CZW are Ruckus, Alex Colon, Rich Swann, Robbie Mireno, and Chrissy Rivera, the team also competes in companies with other members, such as Joker and Eddie Kingston.
The Blackout started as a stable in CZW with Ruckus, Sabian, Joker, and Robbie Mireno. In 2004, they began a feud with Chri$ Ca$h, which saw a number of tag team matches. During this feud, Ruckus and Sabian won the CZW World Tag Team Championship from the H8 Club. In June 2004, Joker left CZW and wrestling entirely to fight in the war in Iraq. Eddie Kingston joined Blackout and continued the feud with Cash. The feud ended in a Cage of Death match at Cage of Death VI on December 11, 2004 when Blackout lost the tag titles to Team Ca$h of Chri$ Ca$h, J.C. Bailey, Nate Webb, and Sexxxy Eddie. In February 2005, Ruckus defeated Messiah for the CZW World Heavyweight Championship.
Delta is an Old World genus of potter wasps with species predominantly distributed through tropical Africa and Asia. Some species are present in the Palearctic region, and a few have been introduced in the Nearctic and Neotropical regions. The members of this genus have a long metasomal petiole, like members of the genera Eumenes and Zeta.
Delta is a 1969 Australian TV series about a scientific laboratory.
Delta is an American sitcom starring Delta Burke which aired on ABC from September 15, 1992 to August 25, 1993. The series was a new starring vehicle for Burke, as her return to television following her dismissal from the CBS sitcom Designing Women in the spring of 1991.
Burke portrays Delta Bishop, a young woman with dreams of writing and singing country music. She became a hairstylist at Mona's House of Hair, married Charlie Bishop and thought she had found happiness. After eight years of marriage, Delta became restless: she was eager to follow in the footsteps of her childhood idol, Patsy Cline, and become a country music star. She quits her job, leaves her husband and friends behind and travels to Nashville, Tennessee. In Nashville, Delta finds an apartment over the garage of a home owned by her cousin, Lavonne Overton (Gigi Rice) and her husband, Buck (Bill Engvall). She also finds a job waiting tables at The Green Lantern, a local bar that hosts an amateur night which Delta believes that if she could sing her songs there, it could jumpstart her career.
