Uruk 5000 B.C. Historical Simulation
Historical simulation showing everyday life of Uruk in Ancient Mesopotamia through the use of virtual reality and Artificial Intelligence. The historical site was reconstructed based on the results of archaeological excavations, settlement maps, museum exhibits, history books and in consultation with subject matter experts.

Der archäologische Ort Uruk im Südirak erhielt im Sommer 2016 als Teil der Kultur- und Naturerbestätte „The Ahwar of Southern Iraq: refuge of biodiversity and the relict landscape of the Mesopotamian cities“ Welterbestatus.
Umfangreiche Konservierungs- und Erschließungsprojekte für den Erhalt der Stätte und ihre Präsentation für die Öffentlichkeit sind hierfür initiiert worden. Zusammen mit der irakischen Antikenverwaltung (State Board of Antiquities and Heritage) und dem irakischen Weltererbe-Komitee erarbeitet das Deutsche Archäologische Institut die hierfür notwendige Planung und Projektdurchführung.
