First of all I want to say a big thank you for reaching 30k subs! This should be a celebration, and it is, but it's also bittersweet as what comes is now the end of Dark Souls, and the end of my time remixing it.
This is my final Dark Souls remix. I didn't think it would affect me as much as it has. Coming up with the idea for this remix was one thing but to actually do it and think about my time with the series has left me both sad and yet hopeful. Remixing something new and revisiting/updating some remixes from the past felt very right, and something of a thank you to everyone who enjoyed those when they were released. I feel like I've done everything I can with this series, this release marks my 25th release between the Souls games and Bloodborne. Now that Dark Souls is over I think it is also time for me to stop with it. Don't get me wrong, whatever Fromsoft does in the future I'm pretty sure that I will want to remix the music from those games. Will there be a Dark Souls 4 one day? If there is, I shall return to it.
I made this decision because I have less time to think about doing remixes. Recently I accepted to write the soundtrack for the game 'The Iron Oath' http://www.theironoath.com/ (I'll be releasing music and news on its kickstarter within the next few months) and I have other projects I'd also like to work on which I hope to reveal someday soon. With this remix released I can start thinking about releasing all my Souls/Bloodborne remixes on iTunes/Spotify etc and I'll need to commission an artist for that. I'd like to have that happen within the next two months.
I want to thank you all for the amazing support you've given me with these remixes, original albums and music in general. I am very lucky to be in the position I am in right now and it's something I will not take for granted. So much in life is just luck or a product of the moment, and making the right connections, then the rest is about how much you want it. I want to thank EpicNameBro as without him I have no idea if I'd even still be doing these Souls remixes, I tweeted him 'Epitaph for Boletaria' on a whim and he liked it enough to retweet and use it in his videos. He would continue to use my music in his videos, as well as 'Kindle the Soul' in his From the Dark playthrough which was excellent. I'd like to thank VaatiVidya too as he basically turned what was something more of a hobby into more of a job, his shoutout to my Bloodborne inspired 'Borne in Blood' album provided me so much exposure, he also used my music a lot in his videos. Without these kickstarts I'm not entirely sure what I'd be doing right now, but I am eternally grateful that they and the Souls community have wanted me to keep writing this music. And I want to thank Yuka Kitamura, her music really was a breath of fresh air particularly around Dark Souls 2's DLC and onwards. I have the pleasure to speak with her and share music and I'd love to work with her on something one day in any capacity. Of course I have to thank Fromsoft and Miyazaki for creating these incredible games, there's really not been a community like this and I hope it continues to stay strong for as long as it can. Another person I must absolutely thank is Shnabubula who has always supported my music (his channel https://www.youtube.com/c/ShnabubulaVEVO ) and has always been the encouragement that helps me be more excited about the music I make.
This has been a long description haha but I felt it was important to get that all out. Let's end on a bright note! E3 is in 2 months time and Fromsoft had nothing to show last year, it's very possible they'll announce their new titles this year! That's really exciting and I'm looking forward to what they do next. I'd go nuts for Bloodborne 2, I'd actually be pretty depressed that I didn't get to work on that if it is real haha but it is what it is. I'm mostly hoping for something fresh that plays like a Souls or Bloodborne game, perhaps rooted in horror but I know whatever it is, it'll be great. I will keep putting content on this channel that I want to do so I hope you'll come back each time. I promise, if you have any interest in me as a composer then whatever I release should be something you'll enjoy. So please, I hope you enjoy this final Dark Souls remix and I'll be back soon with something new. Cheers everyone!

Dougie MacLean's most famous pieces include "The Gael", from his 1990 album The Search, which was adapted by Trevor Jones as the main theme to The Last of the Mohicans (1992); and "Caledonia", from his first album. The World Famous Royal Scots Dragoon Guards have been at the forefront of Pipe music since first achieving world wide fame in 1972 when their haunting version of "Amazing Grace" rocketed to the top of the charts all around the world.The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards are Scotland`s senior regiment and only regular cavalry regiment. The Regiment was formed in 1971 from the amalgamation of the 3rd Carabiniers ( whom were themselves the result of the amalgamation of the 6th Dragoon Guards the Carabiniers and the 3rd the Prince of Wales Dragoon Guards in 1922) and The Royal Scots Greys (2nd Dragoons).
The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards are Scotland’s most senior and only regular cavalry regiment, formed in 1678. The Regiment has recently re-rolled to Light Cavalry after 75 years in tanks and has also moved from Germany to Fife. The Regiment is currently undergoing training to be at readiness as the Light Cavalry Regiment of choice.
The new role of Light Cavalry is at the forefront of the British Army’s organisation, primarily as a mounted combat unit, but also working alongside other armies around the world. The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards form the main armoured force for the 7th Armoured Brigade, The Famous Desert Rats.

The Gaels (English pronunciation: /ɡeːlˠ/; Irish: Na Gaeil; Scottish Gaelic: Na Gàidheil), also known as Goidels, are an ethnolinguistic group indigenous to northwestern Europe. Gaël
Gaël (Gallo: Gaèu) is a commune in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in Brittany in northwestern France.
It lies southwest of Rennes between Saint-Méen-le-Grand and Mauron. In the 18th century, a fair was held twice a year in August and October.
Toponymy
Old versions of the place-name include Guadel in 799, Wadel in 816, Vadel in 851, Wael in 1096, Gael as soon as 1112.
Its Breton name is Gwazel, that comes directly from Wadel > Gwadel > Gwazel, in Breton intervocalic [d] becomes [z], like in mezo ″drunk″, Welsh meddw ″drunk″. In French intervocalic [d] disappears totally : Wadel > Wael (Latin cadena > French chaine > English chain) and initial Germanic w- became gu- [gʷ] (+ -a) before becoming simply [g] : Guadel > Gael (cf. Old French guarder > French garder, English guard). The symbol ë means in Modern French that the preceding a has to be pronounced : Ga-el [gaɛl] (not [gɛʲl])
Nevertherless the place-name is not from Breton but from Gallo-Romance Wadellu(m), derived of Old Low Franconian *wad ″ford″ > French gué ″ford″ (Old Norman wei > Norman vey, Picard, Walloon wez). There were always Gallo-Romance speaking communities east of Saint-Brieuc and the Breton languages disappears totally around Gaël in the Middle Ages to be replaced by Gallo.

First of all I want to say a big thank you for reaching 30k subs! This should be a celebration, and it is, but it's also bittersweet as what comes is now the end of Dark Souls, and the end of my time remixing it.
This is my final Dark Souls remix. I didn't think it would affect me as much as it has. Coming up with the idea for this remix was one thing but to actually do it and think about my time with the series has left me both sad and yet hopeful. Remixing something new and revisiting/updating some remixes from the past felt very right, and something of a thank you to everyone who enjoyed those when they were released. I feel like I've done everything I can with this series, this release marks my 25th release between the Souls games and Bloodborne. Now that Dark Souls is over I think it is also time for me to stop with it. Don't get me wrong, whatever Fromsoft does in the future I'm pretty sure that I will want to remix the music from those games. Will there be a Dark Souls 4 one day? If there is, I shall return to it.
I made this decision because I have less time to think about doing remixes. Recently I accepted to write the soundtrack for the game 'The Iron Oath' http://www.theironoath.com/ (I'll be releasing music and news on its kickstarter within the next few months) and I have other projects I'd also like to work on which I hope to reveal someday soon. With this remix released I can start thinking about releasing all my Souls/Bloodborne remixes on iTunes/Spotify etc and I'll need to commission an artist for that. I'd like to have that happen within the next two months.
I want to thank you all for the amazing support you've given me with these remixes, original albums and music in general. I am very lucky to be in the position I am in right now and it's something I will not take for granted. So much in life is just luck or a product of the moment, and making the right connections, then the rest is about how much you want it. I want to thank EpicNameBro as without him I have no idea if I'd even still be doing these Souls remixes, I tweeted him 'Epitaph for Boletaria' on a whim and he liked it enough to retweet and use it in his videos. He would continue to use my music in his videos, as well as 'Kindle the Soul' in his From the Dark playthrough which was excellent. I'd like to thank VaatiVidya too as he basically turned what was something more of a hobby into more of a job, his shoutout to my Bloodborne inspired 'Borne in Blood' album provided me so much exposure, he also used my music a lot in his videos. Without these kickstarts I'm not entirely sure what I'd be doing right now, but I am eternally grateful that they and the Souls community have wanted me to keep writing this music. And I want to thank Yuka Kitamura, her music really was a breath of fresh air particularly around Dark Souls 2's DLC and onwards. I have the pleasure to speak with her and share music and I'd love to work with her on something one day in any capacity. Of course I have to thank Fromsoft and Miyazaki for creating these incredible games, there's really not been a community like this and I hope it continues to stay strong for as long as it can. Another person I must absolutely thank is Shnabubula who has always supported my music (his channel https://www.youtube.com/c/ShnabubulaVEVO ) and has always been the encouragement that helps me be more excited about the music I make.
This has been a long description haha but I felt it was important to get that all out. Let's end on a bright note! E3 is in 2 months time and Fromsoft had nothing to show last year, it's very possible they'll announce their new titles this year! That's really exciting and I'm looking forward to what they do next. I'd go nuts for Bloodborne 2, I'd actually be pretty depressed that I didn't get to work on that if it is real haha but it is what it is. I'm mostly hoping for something fresh that plays like a Souls or Bloodborne game, perhaps rooted in horror but I know whatever it is, it'll be great. I will keep putting content on this channel that I want to do so I hope you'll come back each time. I promise, if you have any interest in me as a composer then whatever I release should be something you'll enjoy. The World Famous Royal Scots Dragoon Guards have been at the forefront of Pipe music since first achieving world wide fame in 1972 when their haunting version of "Amazing Grace" rocketed to the top of the charts all around the world.The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards are Scotland`s senior regiment and only regular cavalry regiment. The Regiment was formed in 1971 from the amalgamation of the 3rd Carabiniers ( whom were themselves the result of the amalgamation of the 6th Dragoon Guards the Carabiniers and the 3rd the Prince of Wales Dragoon Guards in 1922) and The Royal Scots Greys (2nd Dragoons).
The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards are Scotland’s most senior and only regular cavalry regiment, formed in 1678. The Regiment has recently re-rolled to Light Cavalry after 75 years in tanks and has also moved from Germany to Fife. The Regiment is currently undergoing training to be at readiness as the Light Cavalry Regiment of choice.

First of all I want to say a big thank you for reaching 30k subs! This should be a celebration, and it is, but it's also bittersweet as what comes is now the end of Dark Souls, and the end of my time remixing it.
This is my final Dark Souls remix. I didn't think it would affect me as much as it has. Coming up with the idea for this remix was one thing but to actually do it and think about my time with the series has left me both sad and yet hopeful. Remixing something new and revisiting/updating some remixes from the past felt very right, and something of a thank you to everyone who enjoyed those when they were released. I feel like I've done everything I can with this series, this release marks my 25th release between the Souls games and Bloodborne. Now that Dark Souls is over I think it is also time for me to stop with it. Don't get me wrong, whatever Fromsoft does in the future I'm pretty sure that I will want to remix the music from those games. Will there be a Dark Souls 4 one day? If there is, I shall return to it.
I made this decision because I have less time to think about doing remixes. Recently I accepted to write the soundtrack for the game 'The Iron Oath' http://www.theironoath.com/ (I'll be releasing music and news on its kickstarter within the next few months) and I have other projects I'd also like to work on which I hope to reveal someday soon. With this remix released I can start thinking about releasing all my Souls/Bloodborne remixes on iTunes/Spotify etc and I'll need to commission an artist for that. I'd like to have that happen within the next two months.
I want to thank you all for the amazing support you've given me with these remixes, original albums and music in general. I am very lucky to be in the position I am in right now and it's something I will not take for granted. So much in life is just luck or a product of the moment, and making the right connections, then the rest is about how much you want it. I want to thank EpicNameBro as without him I have no idea if I'd even still be doing these Souls remixes, I tweeted him 'Epitaph for Boletaria' on a whim and he liked it enough to retweet and use it in his videos. He would continue to use my music in his videos, as well as 'Kindle the Soul' in his From the Dark playthrough which was excellent. I'd like to thank VaatiVidya too as he basically turned what was something more of a hobby into more of a job, his shoutout to my Bloodborne inspired 'Borne in Blood' album provided me so much exposure, he also used my music a lot in his videos. Without these kickstarts I'm not entirely sure what I'd be doing right now, but I am eternally grateful that they and the Souls community have wanted me to keep writing this music. And I want to thank Yuka Kitamura, her music really was a breath of fresh air particularly around Dark Souls 2's DLC and onwards. I have the pleasure to speak with her and share music and I'd love to work with her on something one day in any capacity. Of course I have to thank Fromsoft and Miyazaki for creating these incredible games, there's really not been a community like this and I hope it continues to stay strong for as long as it can. Another person I must absolutely thank is Shnabubula who has always supported my music (his channel https://www.youtube.com/c/ShnabubulaVEVO ) and has always been the encouragement that helps me be more excited about the music I make.
This has been a long description haha but I felt it was important to get that all out. Let's end on a bright note! E3 is in 2 months time and Fromsoft had nothing to show last year, it's very possible they'll announce their new titles this year! That's really exciting and I'm looking forward to what they do next. I'd go nuts for Bloodborne 2, I'd actually be pretty depressed that I didn't get to work on that if it is real haha but it is what it is. I'm mostly hoping for something fresh that plays like a Souls or Bloodborne game, perhaps rooted in horror but I know whatever it is, it'll be great. I will keep putting content on this channel that I want to do so I hope you'll come back each time. I promise, if you have any interest in me as a composer then whatever I release should be something you'll enjoy. So please, I hope you enjoy this final Dark Souls remix and I'll be back soon with something new. Cheers everyone!

They are associated with the Gaelic languages; a branch of the Celtic languages comprising Irish (Munster Irish, Connacht Irish, Ulster Irish), Manx and Scottish Gaelic. Other ethnonyms prominently associated with the Gaels historically have included Irish and Scots, but the scope of those nationalities is today more complex.
Gaelic language and culture originated in Ireland, extending to Dál Riata in southwest Scotland. In the Middle Ages, it became dominant throughout Scotland and the Isle of Man also. However, in most areas, the Gaels were gradually anglicized and the Gaelic languages supplanted by English. The modern descendants of the Gaels have spread throughout much of Great Britain and as far as the Americas and Oceania.
Ethnonyms
Throughout the centuries, Gaels and Gaelic-speakers have been known by a number of names. The most consistent of these have been Gael, Irish and Scot, which continue to be used today, although the latter two have developed more ambiguous meanings (due to the early modern concept of the nation state and later romantic ideas, which encompasses non-Gaels). Other terms, such as Milesian, are not as frequently used. Informally, archetypal forenames such as Tadhg or Domhnall are sometimes used for Gaels.
