Jonathan "Jonny" Lee Miller (born 15 November 1972) is a British film, television and theatre actor. He achieved early success for his portrayal of Simon "Sick Boy" Williamson in the dark comedy drama film Trainspotting (1996) and Dade Murphy in Hackers (1995), before earning further critical recognition for his performances in Afterglow (1997), Mansfield Park (1999), The Flying Scotsman (2006) and Endgame (2009); for The Flying Scotsman he received a London Film Critics' Circle nomination for Actor of the Year. He was also part of the principal cast in the films Melinda and Melinda (2004), Dark Shadows (2012) and Byzantium (2013). He has appeared in several theatrical productions on Broadway, most notably After Miss Julie and Frankenstein, the latter of which earned him an Olivier Award for Best Actor.
Miller starred as the titular character in the ABC comedy-drama Eli Stone for which he received a Satellite Award nomination for Best Actor. This was followed by another starring role in the BBC costume drama Emma and a supporting role as Jordan Chase in the fifth season of the Showtime drama Dexter. He currently stars as Sherlock Holmes in the CBS crime drama Elementary which earned him his second Satellite Award nomination for Best Actor.

Plot: The National Institute of Justice explains that the national inmate population stands at 2.4 million and African-Americans and Hispanics make up two-thirds of that total. This is significant since African-Americans only consist of 12% of the population and the Hispanics population around 16.7%. The National Institute of Justice goes on to point out that the United States has the highest number of people incarcerated than any other democratic nation in the world. Among African American juvenile arrests, the re-incarceration rate averages about three times higher than that of Whites. To compound this, among prisoners released in 30 states in 2005 roughly two-thirds (67.8%) were arrested for a new crime within 3 years with over three-quarters (76.6%) re-arrested within 5 years. It's crystal clear to see there is serious systematic failure within the prison system, where a lack of opportunity for those who have transgressed in their past seems to guarantee a lasting future behind bars. 'Halfway' seeks to explore the harsh truth about decisions that need to be made when someone is given a second chance, albeit in an uncomfortable and unfamiliar surrounding.

Made on a micro-budget with a cast of non-professional actors from South Louisiana, LORD BYRON combines tragedy with bizarre comedy, naturalistic performances with outright madness.

To the day I met my very first lover,
To that song I wrote when it was all over,
To the time I wasn't able to tell lies no matter how
Much it hurt...
That time is so far away...
To the lord I prayed as a kid in a corner,
To those scary dreams I had worrying my mother,
Still remember grandma telling stories 'bout that man
Who'd died alone,
The man I should never be...
To a place I left,
To all of my friends,
To the rose I gave to a girl one day,
To the moments I thought that I would go insane...
To a friend who thought eleven floors would kill him,
To the day he awoke surprised he was living -
Then I realized that here you stay as long as you have
No more, no less...
To the day I went to bury my father,
And I figured out I wouldn't have another,
To the time he took my hand in his and told me "son,
You have to be
Better than me"...
To that place I left,
To all of my friends,
To the rose I gave to a girl one day,
To those moments I cried believing a lie,
To the jackals I met and I never betrayed...
To that child I prayed to be back one day,
To those feelings I lost with my fingers crossed,
