New Kids on the Block (also initialized as NKOTB) is an American boy band from Boston, Massachusetts. The band currently consists of brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood. New Kids on the Block enjoyed success in the late 1980s and early 1990s and have sold more than 80 million records worldwide. They won two American Music Awards in 1990 for Favorite Pop/Rock Band, Duo, or Group and Favorite Pop/Rock Album. The group disbanded in 1994, after which several attempts were made to get the group back together, all of them unsuccessful.
After secretly reuniting in 2007 and recording a new CD, the group released that new album and embarked on a concert tour in 2008. The album, entitled The Block, was released on September 2, 2008. New Kids on the Block was listed as number 16 on Rolling Stone's Top 25 Teen Idol Breakout Moments. The group was on tour with the Backstreet Boys in 2011–12 as NKOTBSB. This collaboration first performed live together on November 21, 2010 at the American Music Awards on ABC and again on 2011 New Year's on ABC's Dick Clark/Ryan Seacrest show. The group received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on October 9, 2014.

New Kids on the Block is the self-titled debut album from American pop boy band New Kids on the Block.
Released in the spring of 1986, its very bubble-gum, pseudo early Osmonds/New Edition-esque stylings failed to garner any attention. As a result, the album went commercially unnoticed. In August 1989, during the success of their second album, Hangin' Tough, Columbia Records released the New Kids on the Block track "Didn't I (Blow Your Mind)" as a single, in an attempt to bring this album to the attention of the group's growing fanbase. The ploy worked, and albums sales spiked. Subsequently, the New Kids on the Block album would eventually be certified 3x Platinum by the RIAA; peaking at number 25 on the US Billboard 200.
New Kids on the Block are reissuing their breakthrough 1988 album "Hangin’ Tough" in honor of its 30th anniversary. The critically-acclaimed album won the 1990 American Music Award for favorite pop/rock album and earned NKOTB a Grammy nomination for a companion film of the same name. The new 18-track edition of the album features the 10 original tracks of the album along with remixes and extended versions of hits like the title track, “You Got It (The Right Stuff)” and “Please Don’t Go Girl.” There's also three new songs on the reissue as well, including the recently released single “80s Baby” which features forthcoming tourmates Salt-N-Pepa, Tiffany, Debbie Gibson and Naughty by Nature. I don't really mean to lead you on
All I wanna do is take you home
You got that flavor
Baby, baby, you got the flavor,
Baby, baby you got the flavor,
You got that flavor
You got it and I want it
You got the flavor and I really really need it, girl
Let's not get fakin',
I want you to shake it
Pretty girl, I don't really wanna lead you on
I don't really mean to lead you on
All I wanna do is take you home
You got that flavor.
Let's not get serious, just straight to business
Because your lovin'is all that I need.
My body's achin', don't feel like waitin', baby
Pretty girl, I don't really wanna lead you on
I don't really mean to lead you on,
All I wanna do is take you home
You got that flavor
I really want it, I really need it
Baby you got the flavor
I don't really mean to lead you on,
All I wanna do is take you home
'Cause you got that flavor
Baby, you got it, baby, I need it
You got that flavor.
Yo it's Donnie
Call me the player, ya dig
Like your style, trip with with a New Did
Said she didn't want to, changed her mind
Backseat in the jeep and then I went for mine
Gotta go low, real low, nice and slow
Can't miss one color on the rainbow
Don't front, girl, you know what is about
Take your chance, turn my taste buds out
I don't really mean to lead you on
(I really don't baby, I really don't baby)
All I wanna do is take you home
You got that flavor.
Baby you got it, when I need it
Just come a little closer, babe,
All I wanna say is:
You got the flavor, baby, yes you do
