The Battle of Crécy, also called Battle of Cressy, was an important English victory during the Edwardian phase of the Hundred Years' War. Coupled with the later battles of Poitiers (also fought during the Edwardian phase) and Agincourt, it was the first of three major English successes during the conflict.
The battle was fought on 26 August 1346 near Crécy, in northern France. An army of English, Welsh and allied troops from the Holy Roman Empire led by Edward III of England engaged and defeated a much larger army of French, Genoese and Majorcan troops led by Philip VI of France. Emboldened by the lessons of tactical flexibility and utilisation of terrain learned from the earlier Saxons and Vikings and the recent battles with the Scots, the English army won a decisive victory.
The battle saw the rise as the dominant Western European battlefield weapon of the longbow, whose effects were devastating when used en masse. Crécy also saw the use by the English army of some very early cannon: archaeological digs found shot on the battlefield centuries later. The combined-arms approach of the English, the new weapons and tactics used, which were far more focused on the infantry than previous battles in the Middle Ages (whose predominant focus was the heavily armoured knight), and the killing of incapacitated knights by peasantry after the battle, have led to the engagement being described as "the beginning of the end of chivalry".
Étienne Bernard de Crécy (French pronunciation: [etjɛn də kʁesi]; also known as Superdiscount, EDC, Minos Pour Main Basse and Mooloodjee) (born 25 February 1969, Lyon, France) is a French DJ and producer who composes electronic music, primarily house.
Crécy was born in Lyon, but moved to Versailles from Marseille in the mid 1980s, attending the same Jules Ferry college as Air and Alex Gopher, with whom he later created the Solid label. He then worked in Paris as a sound engineer at studio +XXX ("plus thirty") where he met Philippe Zdar of Cassius, with whom he worked as Motorbass for the album Pansoul album, a preview of what would be his second album: Super Discount, released in 1996, with Air, Alex Gopher and other French artists on Solid. Étienne de Crécy has been involved in various music projects where he worked as a producer.
Super Discount was Étienne de Crécy's first release, including the well known singles "Tout doit disparaître" (Everything must go) and "Prix Choc" (Shock Price). Super Discount is considered by many as the first album of what is called the French touch. Super Discount received very favourable reviews and sold over 200,000 copies.

Originality is the aspect of created or invented works by as being new or novel, and thus can be distinguished from reproductions, clones, forgeries, or derivative works. An original work is one not received from others nor one copied from or based upon the work of others.. It is a work created with a unique style and substance. The term "originality" is often applied as a compliment to the creativity of artists, writers, and thinkers. The idea of originality as we know it was invented by Romanticism, with a notion that is often called romantic originality.
The concept of originality is culturally contingent. It became an ideal in Western culture starting from the 18th century. In contrast, at the time of Shakespeare it was common to appreciate more the similarity with an admired classical work, and Shakespeare himself avoided "unnecessary invention".
In law, originality has become an important legal concept with respect to intellectual property, where creativity and invention have manifest as copyrightable works. In the patent law of the United States and most other countries, only original inventions are subject to protection. In addition to being original, inventions submitted for a patent must also be useful and nonobvious.

MIDIEVAL WEAPONS AND COMBAT - The Longbow (MIDDLE AGES BATTLE HISTORY DOCUMENTARY) Presenter Mike Loades takes us on a fascinating tour of medieval arms and armour, and demonstrates their central role in key events in British history. As an expert who trains people how to use medieval weapons, Mike is in a unique position to show us how these weapons were made and used and their impact on British society. Using a well-known battle as the focus for each programme, and talking to modern-day experts, Mike shows us the properties of each weapon and how effective it would have been in battle. We learn about much more than the weapons themselves as the series draws in themes of technology, religion, geography and even music. A chance to get to know the very talented Visitor Experience team at the Royal Armouries. In this video, we can see a snippet of an Agincourt talk given by Scot from our Visitor Experience team. Our VE team, usually based in Leeds, travelled to London to provide a series of talks and combat performances to accompany our Battle of Agincourt exhibition at the Tower of London. Our VE team are based most of the time at our museum in Leeds, so if you are in the area do come and visit to catch one of their daily tours. In Spring 2016, many of the exhibits from the Agincourt exhibition - including the Battle of Agincourt battle model created by the Perry Brothers and David Marshall of MM Dioramas - will be travelling to Leeds for our permanent Hundred Years War display.
In 1547 a large Scottish army confronted an English force commanded by the Duke of Somerset. The English invasion was to be halted at Musselburgh, with the Scots holding a defensive line along the river Esk. On the 10th September, after opting to attack, the Scottish force was comprehensibly defeated on what became known as "Black Saturday".

todavia no acabo, siga escuchando y sabra.
Ahi Cuauhtemoc tiene su eterna morada
es mi tierra la madre mas abnegada
es un nin~o y con un suen~o va a la escuela
es bandera tricolor que ondea en Iguala.
Es un paraiso...(se repite)
