BE Forum 2019 Launch Video
Malaysia will be welcoming one of the country’s most anticipated homegrown event for the third time, the Business Events Forum (BEF) 2019. The event which is organised by the Malaysian Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (MACEOS) since 2016, is dedicated to enriching the nation’s business events industry.
This year, BEF 2019 will be taking centre stage at the country’s biggest venue, the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) Kuala Lumpur on the 23 October. The event is expected to draw 400 delegates locally and regionally.

Urbanism Next 2021 Virtual Forum - How Much Will Your Street be Worth?
Cities continue to scramble to respond to cascading transportation changes of the past year--from the explosion of home delivery, to transit collapse alongside associated funding, to shifts in work and commute patterns. The need to reorient city mobility priorities will persist alongside increased city capacity to respond dynamically to evolving realities. This session will explore how cities should approach valuing and prioritizing their precious rights-of-way among the many competing demands and community priorities. Further, panelists will dive into the specific policies and technical requirements for implementation to come to fruition.

Gender Forum - Opening address by Barbados Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley
The inclusion of the Gender and Development Forum at UNCTAD 15 demonstrated a commitment by UNCTAD and Barbados to attaining Sustainable Development Goal #5 - "Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls."
While some countries have made significant strides toward achieving this, there is still much work to be done. As governments worldwide seek to "build back better" from the pandemic, it appears evident that the aim of resilient, inclusive, and sustainable societies cannot be achieved if the gap between women and men persists. This was made even more apparent in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As we seek to continue to make strides toward gender equality, it is imperative that we acknowledge the positive advances but also the work still ahead of us. The Forum will provide...

As governments worldwide seek to "build back better" from the pandemic, it appears evident that the aim of resilient, inclusive, and sustainable societies cannot be achieved if the gap between women and men persists. This was made even more apparent in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As we seek to continue to make strides toward gender equality, it is imperative that we acknowledge the positive advances but also the work still ahead of us. The Forum will provided the opportunity to identify the policies and measures needed to reach gender equality and empower women and discuss way to implement solutions.
