Joe Frank Cobb (November 7, 1916 – May 21, 2002) was an American child actor, most notable for appearing as the original "fat boy" in the Our Gang comedies from 1922 to 1929. Some sources such as the first edition (1977) of Our Gang: The Life and Times of the Little Rascals documented him as being born in 1916 or 1917.
Born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on November 7, 1916, Cobb auditioned for producer Hal Roach's Our Gang comedy series at the age of five in 1921. He joined the gang in early 1923 after starting production the fall of 1922. His first silent short was The Champeen in January 1923. Cobb appeared in the Our Gang series' last silent film, Saturday's Lesson, and its first talking short, Small Talk, both in 1929. Although Small Talk was released June 15, 1929, Saturday's Lesson was released November 9, 1929.
He was a recognizable character, with chubby cheeks and a trademark beanie cap. Some sources indicate that his final film with the Gang was Bouncing Babies; however, he does not appear onscreen in that short. His last film as a regular cast member was the previous entry Boxing Gloves in 1929 when he was 12. In all he appeared in 86 Our Gang episodes during the seven years from 1922 to 1929. Cobb also appeared in three cameo appearances during the 1930s, Fish Hooky in 1933, Pay as You Exit in 1936, and Reunion in Rhythm in 1937.
Joseph Stanley Cobb (born Joseph Stanley Serafin on January 24, 1895; died December 24, 1947) was a Major League Baseball catcher who appeared in one game for the Detroit Tigers on April 25, 1918. Born in Hudson, Pennsylvania, Joe Cobb was not related to his Tiger teammate Ty Cobb.
Cobb's lone plate appearance was as a pinch hitter for pitcher Rudy Kallio in the bottom of the eighth inning, during an 8-4 loss to the Cleveland Indians. Cobb has long been shown in major league records to have walked in his only plate appearance, but recent research shows that the original 1918 box score for his only game credited Cobb with striking out. In either event, Cobb did not play in the field, and his major league career consisted only of this single plate appearance.
Outside of the majors, Cobb had an extensive minor league career, which began in 1917 with the Chambersburg Maroons of the Blue Ridge League. After three seasons (including his one game with the Tigers), Cobb dropped out of baseball before returning in 1923 with the Jersey City Skeeters and the Baltimore Orioles. In 1923-24, Cobb was the starting catcher for the Orioles, one of top teams in the International League. The 1923 Orioles had a record of 111-53, and the 1924 Orioles are considered to be one of the five greatest minor league teams of all time, having finished with a record of 117-48. After the Orioles won the 1923 pennant, The Sporting News wrote an article describing Joe Cobb's role on the team: "[Manager] Dunn’s first moves were to obtain catcher Joe Cobb from Jersey City . . . and to sign veteran pitcher Chief Bender. The addition of the peppy Cobb put new life in the Orioles." In 1923, Cobb hit .320 with 72 runs and 80 RBIs. In 1924, Cobb was named to the International League all-star team and hit .320 with 84 RBIs and 75 runs. Cobb also had the distinction of catching for future Hall of Famer Lefty Grove, who had his breakout year with the 1924 Orioles, going 26-6.
Joe Anthony Cobb (born 13 October 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Shepshed Dynamo in the Midland Football League.
Left-back Cobb signed a one-year deal with Wycombe Wanderers on 30 June 2009, following his release from Leicester City. He made his debut for Wycombe in the Football League Trophy against Northampton Town on 1 September, replacing Craig Woodman as a substitute in the 46th minute. Cobb was released from Wycombe at the end of the 2009–10 season making one club appearance against Leeds United.
At the start of the 2010–11 season, Cobb signed for the Spanish club Jerez CF.

The 2008 congressional elections in Arizona were held on November 4, 2008, to determine who would represent the state of Arizona in the United States House of Representatives, coinciding with the presidential election. Representatives are elected for two-year terms; those elected would serve in the 111th Congress from January 4, 2009, until January 3, 2011.
Arizona had eight seats in the House, apportioned according to the 2000 United States Census. Its 2007-2008 congressional delegation consisted of four Republicans and four Democrats. Two of the Democrats had taken Republican seats in 2006, and were at risk during the 2008 election. The delegation elected in 2008 consisted of three Republicans and five Democrats: district 1 changed party (from open Republican to Democratic), although CQ Politics had forecast districts 1, 3, 5 and 8 to be at some risk for the incumbent party.
The party primary elections were held September 2, 2008.

Ernie has one more trick up his sleeve to get the fists flying and the crowd on its feet. Sweet science indeed.

When I met you in the restaurant
You could tell I was no debutante
You asked me what's my pleasure
A movie or a measure?
I'll have a cup of tea and tell you of my dreaming
Dreaming is free
I don't want to live on charity
Pleasure's real or is it fantasy?
Reel to reel is living rarity
People stop and stare at me
We just walk on by, we just keep on dreaming
Feet feet, walking a two mile
Meet meet, meet me at the turnstile
I never met her, I'll never forget her
Dream dream, even for a little while
Dream dream, filling up an idle hour
Fade away, radiate
I sit by and watch the river flow
I sit by and watch the traffic go
Imagine something of your very own
Something you can have and hold
I'd build a road in gold just to have some dreaming
Dreaming is free
Dreaming
Dreaming is free
Dreaming
