Dr. Shrink-Rom: I'm sorry to interrupt, but I couldn't help but notice this young lady's pathological attempt to project upon you her daddy issues of abandonment...
Qohen Leth: Waiting for The Call. What other reason is there to pick up the phone?
Bainsley: It's better than real. You're in your computer and I'm in mine. We're connected by memory chips and fiber optics. We're safe here.
Qohen Leth: Another Day? Another Day.
Joby: Management parties incognito.
Qohen Leth: Nothing adds up.::Joby: No. You've got it backwards, Qohen. Everything adds up to nothing, that's the point.::Qohen Leth: What's the point?::Joby: Exactly. What's the point of anything?
Qohen Leth: Are you real, or just in my mind?::Management: Doesn't matter at all. You're part of the neural web now.::Qohen Leth: [extended silence]... so there is no answer?::Management: That depends on the question.::Qohen Leth: *What I'm living for?*::Management: That's a good question Mr Leth, posed entirely to the wrong person. You see, it seems you've mistaken me for a considerably higher power. I'm not the source of your call. I'm not God or the Devil, I'm just a man... seeking the truth.::Qohen Leth: *What Truth? If... *::Management: Turn around and look [points toward black hole imagery]... That's it. Chaos encapsulated. That's all there is at the end. Just as it was at the beginning.::Qohen Leth: Well, there it is then. You've proved the zero theorem.::Management: Not quite. Mancom is, as you say, still crunching the data.

The competition was held throughout the UK in which more than 1700 bands initially entered. Various Nationwide elimination heats were held in which Sugar Ray Five won each heat outright and were eventual outright winners at the Grand Final which was held at the world famous Hammersmith Odeon (now Hammersmith Apollo) in London in front of a capacity crowd and covered by the BBC. Sugar Ray Five completely annihilated the opposition on the night and ending up gaining 147 of the absolute maximum of 150 points available from the judges. Only ever performing original material the self-penned 7" single 'Lazy Hours' with 'March' on the flip side was released into the British charts the following year which received airplay on principal radio and TV but despite being rapidly tipped by the industry for great heights as a true force to be reckoned with in the mid-eighties music scene the group disbanded less than a year later.

Stop Managing, Start Leading | Hamza Khan | TEDxRyersonU
According to Hamza, managing millennials and knowledge workers the way we used to manage traditional factory workers can be disastrous. Speaking through his own experience of being managed and alternatively as a manager, Hamza makes the case that millennials must be lead, instead of managed and given autonomy to complete their tasks, so that they may grow and reach their full potential.
If you ask Hamza Khan about his role as a manager, he’ll tell you his approach to managing is to avoid it altogether. Before his success as an award-winning digital marketer and entrepreneur, Hamza was a student struggling to find a practical outlet for his creativity while pursuing a degree in business and political science at the University of Toronto Scarborough. In his third-year of university, Hamza s...

Classical Management Theory
Classical Management Theory, broadly speaking, is based upon Henri Fayol, Frederick Taylor, and Max Weber's overlapping management theories. These three management theories came together to form what we generally refer to nowadays as Classical Management Theory.
Note: Frank and Lilian Gilbreth deserve full credit for the Bricklaying studies (which I discovered after I posted the video). This team admired Taylor and learned the principles of time and motion studies. But, the Gilbreth team did the bricklaying studies and deserve credit for it and eventually became research competitors with Taylor when they developed their own approach to time and motion studies using film and an even more refined approach to studying micro-motions. See this article for more details: Frederick Taylor and F...

Why Middle Management is the Hardest Job | Simon Sinek
The middle management team is stuck between strategic and tactical thinking - they're the translator between the two. Things break when we don't train people how to lead OR the senior leadership's focus isn't aligned with the people below them.

Simon is an unshakable optimist who believes in a bright future and our ability to build it together. Described as “a visionary thinker with a rare intellect,” Simon teaches leaders and organizations how to inspire people. With a bold goal to help build a world in which the vast majority of people wake up every single day feeling inspired, feel safe at work, and feel fulfilled at the end of the day, Simon is leading a movement to inspire people to do the things that inspire them. Simon is the author of multiple best-selling books including ...

See this article for more details: Frederick Taylor and Frank Gilbreth: Competition in Scientific Management, Milton J. Nadworny, Business History Review, 1957, vol. 31, issue 1, 23-34.
Virtually all areas of organizational studies from management, to business, to organizational communication, put these three theorists at the foundation of most modern day organizations for developing theories of 1) Administrative science, 2) Scientific Management, and 3) Bureaucracy. Taken together, they form the basis for how we organizational structures and relationships between managers and employees.
