Caller (dancing)
A caller is a person who prompts dance figures in such dances as line dance, square dance, and contra dance. The caller might be one of the participating dancers, though in modern country dance this is rare.
In round dance a person who performs this function is called a cuer. Their role is fundamentally the same as a caller, in that they tell dancers what to do in a given dance, though they differ on several smaller points. In northern New England contra dancing, the caller is also known as the prompter.
Comparing callers and cuers
Callers and cuers serve slightly different functions in different types of dance. Improvisation in modern Western square dance calling distinguishes it from the calling in many other types of dance.
Callers in many dance types are expected to sing and to be entertaining, but round dance cuers do not sing and are expected to be as unobtrusive as possible.
Standardized dances such as round dance, modern Western square dance, and Salsa Rueda consist of a number of defined difficulty levels. Callers and cuers are responsible for knowing all of the calls or cues (respectively), also known as figures, for the defined difficulty level at which their dancers are dancing, as well as all figures belonging to lower or easier levels.

In the game of poker, the play largely centers on the act of betting, and as such, a protocol has been developed to speed up play, lessen confusion, and increase security while playing. Different games are played using different types of bets, and small variations in etiquette exist between cardrooms, but for the most part the following rules and protocol are observed by the majority of poker players.

Players in a poker game act in turn, in clockwise rotation (acting out of turn can negatively affect other players). Until the first bet is made each player in turn may "check," which is to not place a bet, or "open," which is to make the first bet. Ditët e fundit prokuroria shqiptare ka vënë nën hetim qendrat call center-at të cilat funksionojnë në bazë të mashtrimeve. Gjithçka nisi pas një denoncimi të një qytetare gjermane e cila pasi investoi mijëra euro, me premtimin se do përktheheshin në kriptomonedha, vlerat monetare u zhdukën.
Emisioni “Opinion” në Tv Klan trajtoi këtë të mërkurë këtë çështje. Gazetarja Lindita Çela tregoi mënyrën se si funksionojnë këto call center-a dhe se si arrijnë deri në pikën ku mashtrojnë njerëzit, në disa raste duke marrë edhe qindra mijëra Euro.
“Është një armatë e tërë punonjësish që bëjnë mbi 300 telefonata në ditë. Kemi rreshtin e parë të telefonatave që janë punonjës të themi, të nivelit të parë, pa ekspertizë, detyra e tyre është vetëm të bindin. Fillon joshja me 100 Euro. Me 100 Euro në platforma të caktuara që i tregohen klientit. Platformat janë fake, sepse po të futesh në bursë, këto platforma nuk ekzistojnë. Klientëve u tregohet sesi X produkt ka këtë vit në bursë, ka këtë vlerë financiare. Binden personat. Momentin që binden persona, operatori i nivelit bazik bën shënimet. Më pas, janë operatorët e nivelit të mesmë. Ata kanë për detyrë që personat që kanë investuar 100 Euro ta çojnë në 1 000 Euro. Pjesa që kalon, kemi tavolinën e ekspertëve, e mjeshtrave. Detyra e këtyre personave është të bindin të shkojnë investimet e tyre në vlerat që ne kemi zbuluar që kanë shkuar deri në 400 000 Euro dhe fitimet janë të mëdha. Personat investojnë. Duke qenë se janë të moshuar, i japin akses operatorit që edhe nëpërmjet teamviewr të futet në kompjuterin e tyre, t’u japin të gjitha të dhënat dhe kartat. Mënyra e pagesës është në të gjitha format. Të gjitha këto para shkojnë në një llogari të caktuar. Kompania mëmë është ajo që kujdeset për degët. Shkojnë në X kompani. Unë si qytetar rri me idenë që kam investuar dhe do marr fitimin. Për x periudhë kohore, le të themi 1 muaj, 2 muaj, sigurisht në këtë platformën e manipuluar ti e ndjek rritjen, por është diçka fake, e klonuar. Ditët e fundit prokuroria shqiptare ka vënë nën hetim qendrat call center-at të cilat funksionojnë në bazë të mashtrimeve. Gjithçka nisi pas një denoncimi të një qytetare gjermane e cila pasi investoi mijëra euro, me premtimin se do përktheheshin në kriptomonedha, vlerat monetare u zhdukën.
Emisioni “Opinion” në Tv Klan trajtoi këtë të mërkurë këtë çështje. Gazetarja Lindita Çela tregoi mënyrën se si funksionojnë këto call center-a dhe se si arrijnë deri në pikën ku mashtrojnë njerëzit, në disa raste duke marrë edhe qindra mijëra Euro.
“Është një armatë e tërë punonjësish që bëjnë mbi 300 telefonata në ditë. Kemi rreshtin e parë të telefonatave që janë punonjës të themi, të nivelit të parë, pa ekspertizë, detyra e tyre është vetëm të bindin. Fillon joshja me 100 Euro. Me 100 Euro në platforma të caktuara që i tregohen klientit. Platformat janë fake, sepse po të futesh në bursë, këto platforma nuk ekzistojnë. Klientëve u tregohet sesi X produkt ka këtë vit në bursë, ka këtë vlerë financiare. Binden personat. Momentin që binden persona, operatori i nivelit bazik bën shënimet. Më pas, janë operatorët e nivelit të mesmë. Ata kanë për detyrë që personat që kanë investuar 100 Euro ta çojnë në 1 000 Euro. Pjesa që kalon, kemi tavolinën e ekspertëve, e mjeshtrave. Detyra e këtyre personave është të bindin të shkojnë investimet e tyre në vlerat që ne kemi zbuluar që kanë shkuar deri në 400 000 Euro dhe fitimet janë të mëdha. Personat investojnë. Duke qenë se janë të moshuar, i japin akses operatorit që edhe nëpërmjet teamviewr të futet në kompjuterin e tyre, t’u japin të gjitha të dhënat dhe kartat. Mënyra e pagesës është në të gjitha format. Të gjitha këto para shkojnë në një llogari të caktuar. Kompania mëmë është ajo që kujdeset për degët. Shkojnë në X kompani. Unë si qytetar rri me idenë që kam investuar dhe do marr fitimin. Për x periudhë kohore, le të themi 1 muaj, 2 muaj, sigurisht në këtë platformën e manipuluar ti e ndjek rritjen, por është diçka fake, e klonuar.
