OM Mantra Chanting at 417Hz. OM is the Primordial Sound of the Universe. Its the sound that reverberates in the entire cosmos and in every cell of our body, and 417Hz is amazingly beautiful frequency that acts as a cleansing agent for our body, removing negativity, negative blocks and toxicity from our body and mind.
And when we combine both of these - it gives rise to an astoundingly powerful effect, of removing all the negative emotions and let the positivity of OM takes it place. It becomes a powerful meditation tool.
We recommend that you use this for atleast 30 mins a day, and meditate along with it. You may chant OM along with the track or simply let it play in the background as you meditate and focus on your breathing in and out. Simple but a very effective technique.

Gregorian chant is the central tradition of Western plainchant, a form of monophonic, unaccompanied sacred song of the western Roman Catholic Church. Gregorian chant developed mainly in western and central Europe during the 9th and 10th centuries, with later additions and redaction. Although popular legend credits Pope St. Gregory the Great with inventing Gregorian chant, scholars believe that it arose from a later Carolingian synthesis of Roman chant and Gallican chant.
Gregorian chants were organized initially into four, then eight, and finally twelve modes. Typical melodic features include a characteristic ambitus, and also characteristic intervallic patterns relative to a referential mode final, incipits and cadences, the use of reciting tones at a particular distance from the final, around which the other notes of the melody revolve, and a vocabulary of musical motifs woven together through a process called centonization to create families of related chants. The scale patterns are organized against a background pattern formed of conjunct and disjunct tetrachords, producing a larger pitch system called the gamut. The chants can be sung by using six-note patterns called hexachords. Gregorian melodies are traditionally written using neumes, an early form of musical notation from which the modern four-line and five-line staff developed. Multi-voice elaborations of Gregorian chant, known as organum, were an early stage in the development of Western polyphony.

About The Chant

The Knights loved our Lady tremendously and this song said to have been composed by various authors such as Hermann of Reichenau, and Bernard of Clairvaux. It was one of their favourites. They felt they could do anything while under the Virgin’s mantle.
Traditionally sung after Compline, the Salve Regina has an interesting legend associated with it:
“Jean l’Hermite dreamt that Bernard of Clairvaux heard the entire hymn sung by heavenly choirs; he then repeated the words to Pope Eugene III. In an extension of this legend, it is reported that Bernard visited the great cathedral of Speyer in 1146. When he entered the cathedral, he reverenced Our Lady’s statue, chanting: “O thou deboner, o thou meke, o thou swete maide Marie.”
Martin Luther found it to be too extravagant where it concerns Mary, but Peter Canisius wrote that “we praise God in Mary, namely, the work that he has done in her, when we turn to her in song.”
However, this type of debate was better left to the theologians.

Chant
A chant (from French chanter) is the rhythmic speaking or singing of words or sounds, often primarily on one or two main pitches called reciting tones. Chants may range from a simple melody involving a limited set of notes to highly complex musical structures, often including a great deal of repetition of musical subphrases, such as Great Responsories and Offertories of Gregorian chant. Chant may be considered speech, music, or a heightened or stylized form of speech. In the later Middle Ages some religious chant evolved into song (forming one of the roots of later Western music).
Chant as a spiritual practice
Chanting (e.g., mantra, sacred text, the name of God/Spirit, etc.) is a commonly used spiritual practice. Like prayer, chant may be a component of either personal or group practice. Diverse spiritual traditions consider chant a route to spiritual development.
Some examples include chant in African, Hawaiian, and Native American, and Australian Aboriginal cultures, Gregorian chant, Vedic chant, Qur'an reading, Islamic Dhikr, Baha'i chants, various Buddhist chants, various mantras, Jewish cantillation, and the chanting of psalms and prayers especially in Roman Catholic (see Gregorian chant or Taizé Community), Eastern Orthodox (see Byzantine chant or Znamenny chant, for examples), Lutheran, and Anglican churches (see Anglican Chant).

Chants (Craig Taborn album)
Chants is a piano trio album by American jazz pianist and composer Craig Taborn, recorded in June 2012 and released on the ECM label. It features Taborn on piano, with Thomas Morgan on bass, and Gerald Cleaver on drums. The album was recorded in New York City. The compositions were written by Taborn for the band over their eight years of existence.
Reception
The Allmusic review by Thom Jurek awarded the album four stars, stating "Chants is a strong statement from Taborn both as a composer and bandleader, but it's also a dialogue on the trio format itself, as articulated by this vastly talented, thought-provoking group." The Financial Times also gave it four stars out of five, describing it as "Exuberant trio music with an exceptional group dynamic". All About Jazz critic John Kelman praised the album, writing, "Chants is an album that augments the label's already vast collection of piano trio recordings with an unmistakably personal album whose hidden beauty unveils itself further with each and every listen."Down Beat awarded it 4.5 stars, stating that the album "is original to its core". The album was also nominated for "Record of the Year" 2014 by the Jazz Journalists Association (but lost to Wayne Shorter's Without a Net).

Gregorian chant is the central tradition of Western plainchant, a form of monophonic, unaccompanied sacred song of the western Roman Catholic Church. Gregorian chant developed mainly in western and central Europe during the 9th and 10th centuries, with later additions and redaction. Although popular legend credits Pope St. Gregory the Great with inventing Gregorian chant, scholars believe that it arose from a later Carolingian synthesis of Roman chant and Gallican chant.
Gregorian chants were organized initially into four, then eight, and finally twelve modes. Typical melodic features include a characteristic ambitus, and also characteristic intervallic patterns relative to a referential mode final, incipits and cadences, the use of reciting tones at a particular distance from the final, around which the other notes of the melody revolve, and a vocabulary of musical motifs woven together through a process called centonization to create families of related chants. The scale patterns are organized against a background pattern formed of conjunct and disjunct tetrachords, producing a larger pitch system called the gamut. The chants can be sung by using six-note patterns called hexachords. Gregorian melodies are traditionally written using neumes, an early form of musical notation from which the modern four-line and five-line staff developed. Multi-voice elaborations of Gregorian chant, known as organum, were an early stage in the development of Western polyphony.

About The Chant

The Knights loved our Lady tremendously and this song said to have been composed by various authors such as Hermann of Reichenau, and Bernard of Clairvaux. It was one of their favourites. They felt they could do anything while under the Virgin’s mantle.
Traditionally sung after Compline, the Salve Regina has an interesting legend associated with it:
“Jean l’Hermite dreamt that Bernard of Clairvaux heard the entire hymn sung by heavenly choirs; he then repeated the words to Pope Eugene III. In an extension of this legend, it is reported that Bernard visited the great cathedral of Speyer in 1146. When he entered the cathedral, he reverenced Our Lady’s statue, chanting: “O thou deboner, o thou meke, o thou swete maide Marie.”
Martin Luther found it to be too extravagant where it concerns Mary, but Peter Canisius wrote that “we praise God in Mary, namely, the work that he has done in her, when we turn to her in song.”
However, this type of debate was better left to the theologians.

Patrick Lenk is a singer and composer from Germany, who is creating deep and life-changing chants and instrumental music. His musical pieces are new approaches to old mystical chants, as well as unheard melodies, inspired by his calling to the mysteries. The effects of his unique voice and musical work have already helped millions of people to get in touch with subtle inner realms of life, shown by feedback from thousands of his listeners overflowing with stories of lives which have been changed and enriched due to the deep impact of his art.
After a life-long examination of the european spiritual traditions, including studying Roman-Catholic theology, as well as European philosophy, and profound personal experiences, he was finally shown the core issue of spirituality and religion in the modern west. This includes the loss of the science of inner mystical transformation, and therefore the lifegiving heart of its rituals and teachings. This sad development stripped the profound transformative potential of our spiritual tradition, and left outer shells and a weak shadow of its original purpose. As a natural consequence, this void was filled with harmful and unenlightened intellectualism and blind endeavours, that neither nurture nor guide the human spirits anymore.
Since then he has devoted his life to using his voice and art to bring universal love, an experience of mysticism and spiritual healing to a world which is longing for its own reintegration and connection with Divine Spirit.

Gregorian chant is the central tradition of Western plainchant, a form of monophonic, unaccompanied sacred song in Latin (and occasionally Greek) of the Roman Catholic Church. Gregorian chant developed mainly in western and central Europe during the 9th and 10th centuries, with later additions and redactions. Although popular legend credits Pope Gregory I with inventing Gregorian chant, scholars believe that it arose from a later Carolingian synthesis of Roman chant and Gallican chant[citation needed].
Gregorian chants were organized initially into four, then eight, and finally 12 modes. Typical melodic features include a characteristic ambitus, and also characteristic intervallic patterns relative to a referential mode final, incipits and cadences, the use of reciting tones at a particular distance from the final, around which the other notes of the melody revolve, and a vocabulary of musical motifs woven together through a process called centonization to create families of related chants. The scale patterns are organized against a background pattern formed of conjunct and disjunct tetrachords, producing a larger pitch system called the gamut. The chants can be sung by using six-note patterns called hexachords. Gregorian melodies are traditionally written using neumes, an early form of musical notation from which the modern four-line and five-line staff developed. Multi-voice elaborations of Gregorian chant, known as organum, were an early stage in the development of Western polyphony.
Gregorian chant was traditionally sung by choirs of men and boys in churches, or by men and women of religious orders in their chapels. It is the music of the Roman Rite, performed in the Mass and the monastic Office. Although Gregorian chant supplanted or marginalized the other indigenous plainchant traditions of the Christian West to become the official music of the Christian liturgy, Ambrosian chant still continues in use in Milan, and there are musicologists exploring both that and the Mozarabic chant of Christian Spain. Although Gregorian chant is no longer obligatory, the Roman Catholic Church still officially considers it the music most suitable for worship.During the 20th century, Gregorian chant underwent a musicological and popular resurgence.

OM Mantra Chanting at 417Hz. OM is the Primordial Sound of the Universe. Its the sound that reverberates in the entire cosmos and in every cell of our body, and 417Hz is amazingly beautiful frequency that acts as a cleansing agent for our body, removing negativity, negative blocks and toxicity from our body and mind.
And when we combine both of these - it gives rise to an astoundingly powerful effect, of removing all the negative emotions and let the positivity of OM takes it place. It becomes a powerful meditation tool.

Gregorian chants were organized initially into four, then eight, and finally twelve modes. Typical melodic features include a characteristic ambitus, and also characteristic intervallic patterns relative to a referential mode final, incipits and cadences, the use of reciting tones at a particular distance from the final, around which the other notes of the melody revolve, and a vocabulary of musical motifs woven together through a process called centonization to create families of related chants. The scale patterns are organized against a background pattern formed of conjunct and disjunct tetrachords, producing a larger pitch system called the gamut. The chants can be sung by using six-note patterns called hexachords. Gregorian melodies are traditionally written using neumes, an early form of musical notation from which the modern four-line and five-line staff developed. Multi-voice elaborations of Gregorian chant, known as organum, were an early stage in the development of Western polyphony.

About The Chant
---------
The Knights loved our Lady tremendously and this song said to have been composed by various authors such as Hermann of Reichenau, and Bernard of Clairvaux. It was one of their favourites. They felt they could do anything while under the Virgin’s mantle.
Traditionally sung after Compline, the Salve Regina has an interesting legend associated with it:
“Jean l’Hermite dreamt that Bernard of Clairvaux heard the entire hymn sung by heavenly choirs; he then repeated the words to Pope Eugene III. In an extension of this legend, it is reported that Bernard visited the great cathedral of Speyer in 1146. When he entered the cathedral, he reverenced Our Lady’s statue, chanting: “O thou deboner, o thou meke, o thou swete maide Marie.”
Martin Luther found it to be too extravagant where it concerns Mary, but Peter Canisius wrote that “we praise God in Mary, namely, the work that he has done in her, when we turn to her in song.”
However, this type of debate was better left to the theologians.

Although Gregorian chant supplanted or marginalized the other indigenous plainchant traditions of the Christian West to become the official music of the Christian liturgy, Ambrosian chant still continues in use in Milan, and there are musicologists exploring both that and the Mozarabic chant of Christian Spain. Although Gregorian chant is no longer obligatory, the Roman Catholic Church still officially considers it the music most suitable for worship.During the 20th century, Gregorian chant underwent a musicological and popular resurgence.

Chant
A chant (from French chanter) is the rhythmic speaking or singing of words or sounds, often primarily on one or two main pitches called reciting tones. Chants may range from a simple melody involving a limited set of notes to highly complex musical structures, often including a great deal of repetition of musical subphrases, such as Great Responsories and Offertories of Gregorian chant. Chant may be considered speech, music, or a heightened or stylized form of speech. In the later Middle Ages some religious chant evolved into song (forming one of the roots of later Western music).
Chant as a spiritual practice
Chanting (e.g., mantra, sacred text, the name of God/Spirit, etc.) is a commonly used spiritual practice. Like prayer, chant may be a component of either personal or group practice. Diverse spiritual traditions consider chant a route to spiritual development.
Some examples include chant in African, Hawaiian, and Native American, and Australian Aboriginal cultures, Gregorian chant, Vedic chant, Qur'an reading, Islamic Dhikr, Baha'i chants, various Buddhist chants, various mantras, Jewish cantillation, and the chanting of psalms and prayers especially in Roman Catholic (see Gregorian chant or Taizé Community), Eastern Orthodox (see Byzantine chant or Znamenny chant, for examples), Lutheran, and Anglican churches (see Anglican Chant).
