Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey

The Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey is the official Deputy of the Head of Government of Turkey. Conventionally all of the junior partners in a coalition get one deputy, and they are ranked according to the size of their respective parties.

Deputy Prime Minister (Denmark)

Deputy Prime Minister of Denmark is a position, held by one government minister, in the Government of Denmark who can take the position of acting Prime Minister when the Prime minister is temporarily absent. The job is unofficial, but in many media, the person taking over when the Prime Minister is absent, is often dubbed Deputy Prime Minister, or vicestatsminister in Danish.

In case of coalition governments, the position is usually held by the leader of the second largest party in the cabinet. The Deputy Prime Minister is also the highest ranking minister after the Prime Minister.

Since 28 June 2015, the position is held by Kristian Jensen.

Prime Minister of Spain

The President of the Government of Spain (Spanish: Presidente del Gobierno), formally known by English-speaking nations and formally translated by the European Commission Directorate-General in English as Prime Minister is the head of Government of Spain. The current office is established under the Constitution of 1978.

The King of Spain nominates a candidate for the presidency who stands before the Congress of Deputies of Spain, the lower house of the Cortes Generales (parliament), for a vote of confidence in a process known as a parliamentarian investiture, effectively an indirect election of the head of government by the elected Congress of Deputies. In practice, the Prime Minister is almost always the leader of the largest party in the Congress. Since current constitutional practice in Spain calls for the King to act on the advice of his ministers, the Prime Minister is effectively the country's chief executive.

Mariano Rajoy Brey of the People's Party has been the prime minister since he was sworn in on December 21, 2011, after winning the 2011 general election.

Prime Minister of Slovenia

There have been eight Prime Ministers of Slovenia, officially President of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia (Slovene: Predsednik Vlade Republike Slovenije), since the country gained parliamentary democracy in 1989, and independence in 1991. Unlike the President of the Republic of Slovenia, who is directly elected, the prime minister is appointed by the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, and must control a majority there in order to govern.
