The team you will be leading, the Partner Success Sales Team, drives customer success with our gallery partners and contributes to Artsy’s financial targets by delivering upsell revenue and acquiring artwork supply for the marketplace. We are looking for someone who is excited to not only manage the team, but truly develop Artsy in APAC, and has the confidence and experience to lead on this. This role reports to the Associate Director, EMEA and APAC located in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop the sales team across the Asia Pacific region, continuing driving YOY growth
  • Provide regular hands-on sales coaching across the team and supporting key accounts.
  • Create and drive local and global sales strategy in partnership with Artsy’s global sales leadership team through informed analysis and data.
  • Building relationships with major partners and art associations in the regions,
  • Partner cross-functionally with B2B Marketing, Sales Enablement and Sales Ops to deliver key results.

What Success Looks Like In This Role:

  • 3 Months: You have learned Artsy internal systems, built close bonds with your team and developed an APAC sales strategy (with the global leadership team) for 2022
  • 6 Month: You have supported and improved growth of the APAC team and have started to see traction with the APAC sales strategy created
  • 12 Months: You have become the face of Artsy throughout APAC, being a trusted advisor for some of the largest partners you have engaged, while developing your team to deliver even better results from their gallery partners.

Candidate Requirements:

  • An experience leader, who can show examples of delivering against challenging targets in past roles
  • A people person, one who can inspire both internally and externally
  • Data driven, you can look at the extensive data and reporting on offer, and make strategic recommendations
  • A strong collaborator, one who can work, and influence Marketing and Sales operations globally
  • Communicator, you can communicate in English and at least 1 further language (preferably Japanese, Chinese or Korean)
  • You are based in Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo or willing to relocate
