I am unconvinced of the need for a disambiguation page here. This is a WP:TWODABS page for which the primary topic is probably the vastly more well-developed Benefit corporation article. I would delete this page and redirect the title there. BD2412 T 04:41, 25 October 2021 (UTC)[]

Wesley Frazier is not notable beyond a single event - her short running career in High School. Although her event was covered by multiple sources in 2013, neither Frazier nor her younger sister had any more events widely covering them - especially after both graduated high school. Thus the article should be deleted per WP:1E.

To the best of my knowledge, this is not an FCC-licensed station, and there's no coverage in reliable sources to verify its existence, much less meet the GNG. (And if the article is to be believed, "WKUI" doesn't even sign on until November 1 — for quite a few years now, we've been trying to move away from having premature articles on unlaunched stations even when there is verifiable evidence of at least a construction permit.) A complete promotional article that is trying to hinge on routine announcements around funding or campaigns or brand ambassadors. There is no WP:CORPDEPTH. Scroll article has some merit but most of it is interviewish. If it was a biography, it could have helped but for companies, WP:CORPDEPTH requires actual independent analysis, discussion and commentary about the company and not just telling what is already known or said or coming from the company. • Comment Notability is not temporary. Keep'For now' or 'For later' has no meaning I feel. Delete 'for now' might have sense since non-notable topics can become notable in future. But it's rare for notable topics to become non-notable unless there are policy change. Frequently mentioned in news and media is not one of the notability criteria. What we need is WP:CORPDEPTH in WP:RS written in a way that's WP:IS. That's not being met here. If others feel differently, please provide examples of how it is being met. Also have trivial mentions in international news publications including Reuters [18] and The Washington Post [19][20] 007sak (talk) 12:51, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[]
Comment Forbes has a couple of lines about the company and some quotes. Bloomberg is mostly funding related. The Hindu is again a couple of lines with some quotes. Very typical industry story situation. Qz - it is in-depth but not following WP:CORPDEPTH; it is simply a retell of what was told and there is barely any independent analysis or commentary. Economic times - funding related. Live mint is not considered WP:RS. Financial Express says 'brandwagon'. Reuters is a single mention in the entire article. Same goes for both the Washington post. Once again, what we are looking at is WP:CORPDEPTH. Some of these come close to it but others are far away. Nomadicghumakkad (talk) 22:39, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[]

as mentioned in previous notes [of concern], which have since been deleted, this page is unnecessary and extremely biased. It acts merely as an advertisement for a fringe community, and exists to give that community apparent authority. The links and general direction of this page are biased, with nothing directing to critiques of the ideology of transhumanism. Though apparently cited well, this page and many linking to it are self referential, and merely act as a way to give certain named individuals apparent authority. The main page for transhumanism is far and above enough of a reference on wikipedia 0bvious (talk) 17:37, 17 October 2021 (UTC)[]

  • Keep: The nomination referred to the page as an advertisement. That is simply not true. Meanwhile, the nominator presented zero evidence backing up their claims, including that the "page is unnecessary and extremely biased". The outline, as a WP content navigation aid, is a collection of the subject's article links with descriptions excerpted from those articles -- which is about as neutral as you can get. At the time the outline was created, it was as comprehensive a collection of links to the subject's articles on WP that the author(s) could muster. Any deficiency in topic coverage due to new article creation would show a need for updating the outline rather than deleting it. That being said, there are 4 main reasons to keep this outline (and all other outlines in WP's system of outlines):

    1) A WP outline is the equivalent of a subject table of contents. There is enough material on WP about transhumanism to fill a book. It's common knowledge that the information in a book is easier to access when that book has a table of contents. The outline system is the table of contents for Wikipedia, and the Outline of transhumanism serves as the table of contents for that particular subject on Wikipedia.

    2) Each WP outline is an example of a tree structure, useful for depicting the hierarchical relationship of topics within a subject, to more easily see the conceptual structure of its content, such as what subtopics fall under each topic.

    3) Outlines are lists, which are faster, and therefore more convenient, to browse than prose articles.

    4) Each outline is part of one of Wikipedia's content navigation subsystems, with the system of outlines presented at Wikipedia:Contents/Outlines, while the main contents link resides on the menu sidebar which appears on every page of Wikipedia. Go there to see how the outlines fit in to the overall contents system.

Deleting any of the outlines would create a hole in the topic coverage of Wikipedia's outline-based navigation system. Therefore, please leave the outline system fully intact. Thank you. Sincerely,    — The Transhumanist   10:29, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[]
  • Delete What isn't already covered in transhumanism is TV Tropes-level fancruft. Having an outline doesn't actually help with navigation when that outline tends to the indiscriminate, and we already have a decent enough prose article that functions better. As already raised before, I don't think the subject is notable enough. This is due to there being a lack of sources - there is mostly just Youtube (where he is decently popular), his own website, and unreliable sources like CelebsMoney and FamousDetails.-- • Apollo468•  14:23, 10 October 2021 (UTC)[]

Contested PROD. No assertion of notability, no placement first, second or third in national competition. Significant independent sources do not appear to exist outside the walled-garden Drum Corps International ecosystem, other incidental mentions are insufficient to establish notability, merely supporting existence. • Delete. This article is actually pretty typical of the articles in this walled DCI garden, and I'll refrain from pruning it for the sake of demonstration. From the top, there is the ridiculous amount of detail in the history, another excessively detailed "sponsorship" section with primary (directory) links, the over-the-top "show summary" in all its detailed glory and no more verification than a link to the DCI, and an EL section with an alumni page and a DCI (spam) link. File:Go All the Way.ogg[edit]

File:Go All the Way.ogg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by ILIL (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

Currently used at power pop genre article. I'm uncertain whether the sample of Go All the Way (song) complies with WP:NFCC#8. Furthermore, I think the song article doesn't have much commentary to support the sample. I appreciate the sample trying to exemplify how the genre progressed in the 1970s. However, I think readers can grasp what "sexually suggestive lyrics, considered risqué for the day" really mean without help from the sample... I hope. Moreover, I hope those reading the genre article should grasp what "heavy arena-rock hook to the cooing, teenybopper-friendly verses and chorus" really mean without trying the sample and emphasizing a lot what the caption says about the song. The idea that readers couldn't understand what the song article says about the song itself.... Maybe keeping the sample would allow readers to have their own opinions without believing what quoted passages say? George Ho (talk) 03:04, 25 October 2021 (UTC)[]

The sample of buliao qing (song) is currently used for Mandopop article. However, I don't think the sample complies with WP:NFCC#8 at this time. Even the song article doesn't have sufficient commentary to support the sample. I don't think the genre article does either. Furthermore, there are already samples of spoken Mandarin Chinese in Commons if readers want to learn more about the language. George Ho (talk) 03:23, 25 October 2021 (UTC)[]

File:The Moon Represents My Heart - Teresa Teng.ogg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Hzh (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

Currently used at Mandopop and The Moon Represents My Heart. I don't think the usage in the genre article complies with WP:NFCC#8. Probably an attempt to educate readers what a Mandarin-language pop song sounds like back in 1970s. However, I've not yet seen sufficient commentary that can support the sample. Unsure whether the sample should remain in the song article, nonetheless. George Ho (talk) 03:28, 25 October 2021 (UTC)[]

  • Comment -- I still say that a Greek citizen of the Ottoman Empire was NOT an Ottoman; nor was he a Turk, which might be the appropriate demonym if he was a Muslim. The statemetn that England ceased to be independent is highly offensive. In 1707, Scotland accepted Parliamentary union with England, which remained independent though with a Scottish dependency. Peterkingiron (talk) 16:39, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[]
Could it not be said with equal accuracy that "In 1707, England accepted Parliamentary union with Scotland, which remained independent though with a joint dependency." ? Laurel Lodged (talk) 15:51, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[]
  • Delete per Peterkingiron. WP:SMALLCAT applies and, as Peter says, Greek subjects of the empire were not Ottomans or Turks. I don't get the reference to 1924 and to say England lost its independence is plain wrong. No Great Shaker (talk) 14:12, 20 September 2021 (UTC)[]
  • We all agree that Greeks are not Turks or part of the Ottoman dynasty, that is not what the discussion is about. The discussion is about whether to rename to "from the Ottoman Empire". If the tree is going to be renamed in a fresh nomination then Christopher Angelus belongs in it. Marcocapelle (talk) 06:22, 27 September 2021 (UTC)[]
