so here's the thing: I've now been invited to speak at two in-person events that did not have sufficient COVID safety measures in place at the time I was asked to confirm my involvement (no required masks, no capacity limits in rooms, no virtual option to participate, etc)...

New afterschool routine. Strip out of clothes on verandah, inside, hands & clean clothes. I'm now masking around my kids, including in the car. We have classes at their school with 50% of the cohort out. It's unmitigated spread. pls bring back cohorting! #HighRisk

Providing hope to prolong high risk pregnancies and support to families of premature infants. 2,500 families supported every year in Florida & California.
2 family members tested positive for Covid today 2nd & 3rd time, respectively, since Dec Their #HighRisk households also will likely test positive in coming days (2nd/3rd/4th infections) Bc they do front-line essential public-facing work & y'all won't😷/stay home when sick 🤬

Welp … I made it this long, but I guess it was just inevitable! Especially since Jersey just dropped their mask mandate! Fuckkkkkk!! Thank God for the vaccine - I can’t imagine how bad it would be otherwise. I am truly suffering! Ugh! #highrisk

I stopped keeping count of the deaths of people I personally knew after it reached 15. That was early September. Of 2020. (And before you're an asshole: No, they weren't all Disabled or old. A few were #HighRisk, most weren't) So many friends/family died, so many more cases 6/
