JUST NOW: 1st time in Australia’s history. Liberals just voted in Parliament to override the Speaker’s agreement to refer Christian Porter to the Privileges Committee. That’s right. Liberals actually voted to say it’s OK for an MP to get $1 million in secret donations.

Next week, I’m introducing this Bill to SCRAP Scott Morrison’s cruel Cashless Debit Card. This will STOP his plan to roll out out the Cashless Pension Card to all Aged Pensioners and other Australians.

IT'S ON. Next week, Labor will introduce a Bill to scrap the Cashless Debit Card. Not only will this protect pensioners from the card, it will also scrap the card for those already on it. I am seconding this Bill moved by

Perth based Christian Porter was on sick leave from the 3rd of March until early May so why did he bill taxpayers for $768 for 6 nights in Coogee, which is in Sydney, in April 2021, which is where his girlfriend lives?

BREAKING: the Government just blocked an investigation into Christian Porter's secret million dollar donation. This is why we need a national anti-corruption commission.

A question for Scott Morrison: Former NSW MP Daryl Maguire has admitted to running a "cash for visas" scheme at the time you were minister for immigration. Do you know or have you launched an investigation into who was facilitating that scheme from within your department?

Mystery donors paid up to $1 million of Christian Porter’s law fees. He won’t say who. Liberal Speaker Tony Smith found there was a prima facie case for it to go to the Privileges Committee. The Liberal Party voted to block it. This has never happened. Not since 1901.

“We won’t be rushed” says coalition partner, 2,963 days after forming government. Seriously.

Ridiculous that the only climate announcements Morrison has made are: 1. To turn up to a conference he should be at anyway 2. That the Govt is meeting with themselves, to make a plan, after 8 years in power. A wasted decade of lost economic opportunities.

Hi
@JoshFrydenberg, could you please update Australians on their missing $40 billion which found its way to cashed up companies via the scandal-plagued JobKeeper scheme, and advise what steps you're taking to recover and return the money to Australians?#auspol -

What a completely reasonable point for this NSW voter to make… And what an utterly bizarre response from the new NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet’s office.

Suspension of standing orders for a motion to legislate Net Zero by 2050 being opposed by all those MPs that say they are committed to Net Zero by 2050!

The Speaker decided that Christian Porter receiving up to $1m from a 'blind trust' was worthy of sending to the Privileges Committee for investigation. Of course, the Morrison Government voted to stop any investigation. This is what corruption looks like.
#auspol -
Every member of the House who votes against the motion to refer Porter's anonymous trust to the Privileges Committee is voting against integrity in politics. Every one. Their vote and their cynicism will be remembered on election day.

The Morrison Government has spent $200 million on consultancies in just 3 months — on track to be the highest consultancy spend the country has ever seen.
