Currently, there's really no scientific dispute about LDL-c/ApoB; the "controversy" mostly comes from autodidacts on SoMe who don't understand reverse causation and how it effects studies. The important facts laid out here strongly advise a low SFA diet being a primary PH rec.

The PLA now has T-15 tanks and Jonyang 2-part carriers on the Tibetan plateau. Cannot be for defense: India only has light infantry up there. Is a Chinese Rommel planning a blitzkrieg ? After all N Delhi is just 1000 km.. Or does Xi want to emulate Mao's 1962 surprise attack ?

Turkey is quite tolerant and kind to their street dogs. We could learn a thing or two from them about showing compassion to voiceless beings.

Most minority establishments in Srinagar, Kashmir today shut by 7pm. This is near heart of the city, metres away from Lalchowk. Need of the hour is for LG and all top officials to go on ground and be with Kashmiri Hindus and Sikhs. Don’t let another exodus happen.

This was Bakht Mohammad, known as Kakai, former NDS officer. Taliban took him out of his house 2 nights ago in Katawaz, Paktia. For 48 hours, Taliban tortured him & then shot him while he was hanging upside-down. His dead body was handed over to his family without any explanation.

I found everything about this essay deeply depressing, from the brutal ecological asset-stripping of Nauru by high-income countries, to the imminent, unregulated wrecking of the abyssal plains of the oceans. Nevertheless, it needs reading.

The entire society is complicit in this denial. One pet peeve of mine is with the celeb chefs who in every show are shown using copious amts of ghee in their unhealthy recipes, never uttering a word about the exploitation of cattle. The road to change will be long and rocky. 2/n

The sad condition of the cattle is there for all to see and yet denialism reigns supreme: Cows are enjoying retirement in gaushalas, Vrindavan, Lord Krishna, and Gokul are invoked to show the eternal and sacred bond with cows. 1/n
