Jharkhand reports 9 fresh Covid-19 cases, zero death in last 24 hrs

  • Ranchi added 4 fresh cases, followed by Khunti with 2 cases while East Singhbhum, Bokaro and Ramgarh each reported one case.

Lakhimpur Kheri tragedy should not be linked with any other incident : Bhupesh Baghel

Latehar: Wife of man killed in ‘encounter’ seeks FIR against security personnel

Taking legal opinion on new TAC rules: J’khand Guv

The Hemant Soren government on June 22 amended the Tribes Advisory Council (an advisory body that deliberates and helps the government with issues related to tribes and their development in states that have areas classified under the fifth schedule of the Constitution), transferring the power of constituting the TAC from the office of the Governor to the CM.

Seems Dhanbad judge was intentionally hit by auto, CBI tells Jharkhand HC

On July 28, judge Anand was brought dead to a hospital about an hour after he was hit by the auto rickshaw in Dhanbad when he was out on a morning walk. Appearing before the HC bench, the CBI informed the court that judge’s death was not an accident.

7 girls drown in pond during Karma Puja immersion in J'khand's Latehar district
