All of this is a microcosm of what’s wrong: advertisers brand safety, poor bid strategy, greedy SSPs, hateful content. No pun, but it’s all on “display” here.

That is an insanely high CPM for a display ad, but in political digital media buying that rate isn’t that surprising.

Weird! is a sponsor of the Brand Safety Institute () but they're one of the last ad exchanges still monetizing The Post Millennial, a disinfo site led by Andy Ngo. Can you help, ?

What I want to know is why is placing ads on a Canadian hate site that other ad exchanges are fleeing - at a whopping $11+ CPM rate? can you weigh in?

There are billions of shitty sites on the internet. 's value prop is that they screen for the best ones, visited by the realest people and provide the highest ROI. What they're actually giving them is garbage inventory & fudging transparency while they're at it.

There are tons of other websites that still needs to address: ? Boons Media? Who TF are these companies? Why are they working w/ so many "Publishers" that don't have ads on their websites?

I want to note here that actually REMOVED Spike Media from their sellers.json shortly after story dropped. Why? I'm guessing it's bc they've known for awhile that Spike Media is a low-quality content farm, but they didn't want *their clients* knowing that.

I only know that Spike Media is a MFA ring bc the founder told me that he runs HistoryCollection(.)com, which I then popped into to find all the other outlets he runs. Is this the supply chain transparency waxes poetic about?
