    If emissions continue to climb beyond 2050, the planet could reach 3 degrees as early as the 2060s or 2070s. The oceans will continue to rise for decades beyond that. These renderings of what cities will look like at 3 degrees warmer... yeesh

    The City Council today passed a bill requiring NYC to create a citywide climate adaptation plan. Sponsor said he's frustrated "we’re just passing a bill that calls for a plan, not passing a bill that actually calls for any tangible action"
