Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered

"Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" is a show tune and popular song from the 1940 Rodgers and Hart musical Pal Joey. The song was introduced by Vivienne Segal on December 25, 1940, in the Broadway production during Act I, Scene 6, and again in Act II, Scene 4, as a reprise. Segal also sang the song on both the 1950 hit record and in the 1952 Broadway revival. It was performed by Carol Bruce in the 1954 London production. A piano version by Bill Snyder was a giant hit in 1950.

Rod Stewart version

In 2003 the song was released as a duet by English singer-songwriter Rod Stewart with American singer and actress Cher, as single from his second pop standards album, As Time Goes By: the Great American Songbook 2. It was released in 2003 by J Records. The cover also became a moderate hit on the Adult Contemporary chart in the United States, peaking at number 17.

Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

"Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" is episode 16 of season two of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In this episode, Cordelia breaks up with Xander after her friends mock her. Xander retaliates by attempting a love spell to "put her through the same hell", and he gets a little more than he had bargained for.

Plot synopsis

During a patrol through the cemetery, Xander shows Buffy a silver necklace he intends to give to Cordelia the following night for Valentine's Day, however he is unsure if she will like the gift. The next day at school, Xander witnesses Amy Madison use magic to avoid a homework assignment, however he thinks little of it. Soon after, Giles runs into Jenny Calendar, however their relationship remains frosty, with Giles deciding talking to Buffy remains more important than making amends with Jenny. Giles warns Buffy that Angelus becomes particularly vicious around Valentine's Day, and suggests she stays indoors for the following nights. Meanwhile, Cordelia is insulted by Harmony and the Cordettes, revealing to Cordelia that her relationship with Xander is not as secret as she once thought.

Bothered and Bewildered

"Bothered and Bewildered" is an episode of the BBC sitcom, The Green Green Grass. It was first screened on 29 September 2006, as the third episode of series two.

Synopsis

In this classic episode of series two of the much loved spin off, Boycie decides that it's time to sack one of his staff members as they are not doing enough work. So, it's Mrs Cakeworthy that is for the chop. As soon as Mrs Cakeworthy leaves, strange things start to happen around Winterdown Farm - and Elgin, Byran and Jed seem to believe that these strange goings-on have something to do with the curse that Mrs Cakeworthy put on Farmer Boyce, as she is apparently a witch. In the end it is Marlene who has been scaring Boycie - in an attempt to get Mrs Cakeworthy her job back. A classic quote in this episode from Boycie: Yes, but you seem to be forgetting that I haven't got a cock. In fact I haven't got any poultry whatsoever...
