Lublin, Poland: Two banks attacked by ‘Felicity Ryder Anarchist Cell’

325, translated from Greca W Ogniu (in Polish): Our shoes are worn out from all the boring peace walks we have joined. Not only have we noticed holes on the shoe soles, but we have also realised that we are stuck in one place and our inner ferocity is now lulled into gentleness. Demonstrations are not a good outlet for our anger, which cannot be satisfied with mere tramping the streets, all under the watchful eye of the police. Thus, we feel forced to seek new paths of action.

This is why, on the 1st of May we went for a walk without informing the authorities. We took with us a few litres of paint and made a resolution that we need to do something for our comrades. We painted windows of two banks located in two different parts of the city. Their owners should know that not every potential visitor will have peaceful intentions and will beg for a loan.

We dedicate the operation to Felicity Ryder, an anarchist from Australia, who has been hiding for months from the watchdogs, as well as to those arrested in Greece, Italy and other parts of the world. Continue reading “Lublin, Poland: Two banks attacked by ‘Felicity Ryder Anarchist Cell’”

Melbourne: riot at anarchist solidarity party and real estate agent smashed

Anarchist News: On the evening of friday 26th of april, cops raided a solidarity party for anarchist prisoners at a squatted warehouse in Clifton Hill. Upon entry the pigs were immediately pelted with bottles and forced to retreat. However backup was called, and shortly after the warehouse was surrounded by riot squad, regular cops, and dogs. The occupants were forced out of the building and on to the street where the cops were attacked a second time with bottles, rocks, and other projectiles while the party goers chanted “A.C.A.B!”

A police radio was stolen and used to taunt and verbally abuse the bastards. The cops responded with baton charges, pepper spray, and mauling people with their dogs. At this point the revellers disappeared into the night to party elsewhere. Many were heard to comment “best party ever!”

As a response to this police attack, and as an act of solidarity with this small rupture and an attempt to broaden its horizons we went to North Fitzroy and smashed up a real estate agent.

We also express our solidarity and warm regards to anarchist Felicity Ryder who is still on the run, and to Jock Palfreeman, antifascist prisoner in Bulgaria.

Chile: Sin Banderas Ni Fronteras: Words for Felicity Ryder, anarchist fugitive from Power, and reflections on clandestinity

ContraInfo: Nearly two years ago now, we diffused a text in solidarity with antiauthoritarian comrade Diego Ríos, who has been underground since 2009 (because of the arrest warrant issued against him when his mother reported that he had stored material to manufacture explosives in a house she owned). At that time, we shared some reflections about the particularities of clandestinity for antiauthoritarian and anarchist comrades. A similar effort was made three years ago by comrades who wrote and edited the book Al Acecho (Lying in Wait); it was rooted in Diego Ríos’ case as well, and to us, it was the first text originating in Chile to address themes of clandestinity from an antiauthoritarian perspective based on a specific case. Other texts, such as the book Incógnito and the communiqués from comrade Gabriela Curilem also address anarchist/antiauthoritarian comrades’ experiences of clandestinity, a theme that seems to be infrequently discussed in these parts.

Thus, we have already shared the idea of greeting our fugitive comrades and saluting their decision to struggle and evade prison, one more action against the attempts of Power to capture those who combat it.

Today, we want to send special greetings to fugitive anarchist Felicity Ann Ryder, in accordance with the call from anonymous comrades for days of solidarity from February 21st to March 7th, 2013. We’d like to salute our comrade and let loose a few ideas about clandestinity, the fruits of individual and collective learning as we are sharpening our positions on the permanent stage of social war, with the hope of enriching our antiauthoritarian praxis. Hobart: police headquarters vandalised in solidarity with Felicity Ryder

A week or so ago Tasmania Police Headquarters, in Hobart, was “re-decorated”.

On the windows and around the building, the following message was sprayed: Cops R Dicks – Love U Flick. Until the last bank, prison & cop r burnt to ashes x x x Con amor y solidarid – A.C.A.B. – F.T.T.P.

This was done in solidarity with our friend and comrade Felicity Ryder as well as our comrade Mario Lopez. Like fire our rage must spread…

Action and statement in solidarity with anarchist Felicity Ryder

via Contrainfo: From deep within the belly of the beast we howl our solidarity with our wild sister & comrade, Felicity Ryder. Love, some comrades.

On a wet and cold night we ventured out with paint cans in our pockets and the fierce desire for a free world in our hearts. On this dark winter’s night, our burning hatred for this mechanized undead system, which seeks our total exploitation from the moment we emerge from out of the womb and into the hospital (our first institution) to the moment of our last breath, lit our way through the streets.

We know that the last 7 months must have been far from easy for you compañera, and we can only imagine that the challenges of clandestinity have required immense patience and strength from you. Continue reading “Action and statement in solidarity with anarchist Felicity Ryder”

Melbourne: Solidarity with Felicity Ryder

20 March, Anarchist News: In response to a call out for solidarity with fugitive comrade Felicity Ryder some rabble rousers from Melbourne made some fun around town in the last week.

Our first target was CCTV cameras that abounds in this and every other yucky city in the world. We disabled, collected and removed at least 11.

A metro train was painted a flamboyant rainbow of colours from one end to the other. The trains are ours (everyone’s!) and we’ll do with them what we like – paint, sabotage, fare evade, fuck up.

A luxury car yard had upwards of a dozen cars severely damaged when given a makeover in baby blue. Fuck the wealthy and their status symbols.

Felicity lives in a our hearts and minds daily.
Much love and solidarity sister.

Argentina: Mural painted in Buenos Aires in solidarity with the fugitive compa Felicity

“I am proud of being an anarchist, of being an enemy of power, authority, and the state.” – Felicity Ann Ryder

14 March, from liberaciontotal, transl waronsociety:

From the painters:

During the week of solidarity with Felicity Ryder, we painted a mural as a gesture of affection for her and for all the rebels who are in confrontation from clandestinity and anonymity.

We also greet the compañero Diego Ríos.

We are everywhere.

Call for Actions in Solidarity with Fugitive Comrade Felicity Ryder

New York City Anarchist Black Cross: We recently received this from comrades in Mexico City Anarchist Black Cross.

A call for two weeks in solidarity (February 21st- March 7th) with Felicity Ann Ryder, an anarchist comrade on the run.

Greetings in Solidarity to all anti-authoritarian hearts who read this wherever they may be. To everyone who, with conviction and strength, combat, in whatever manner they see fit, every institution and symbol of the apparatus of capitalist patriarchy, oppression, domestication and the farce of power.

Comrades, we put this call out from inside of the beast to howl our solidarity with our sister and comrade Felicity Ann Ryder, who remains fugitive from the claws of the state after more than 7 months.

In the early hours of June 27th, 2012 an unfortunate event occurred: an explosive device detonated leaving our comrade Mario “Tripa” López injured (and behind bars for 6 months). Mario is now “free” on Conditional Release and has an ongoing case against him. After police and government forces found Felicity’s passport, and facing the risk of also being put in jail, our comrade began life as a fugitive. Mexico: Open letter of imprisoned comrade Braulio Duran to Felicity Ryder

Contrainfo

Felicity: Hello, compañera. First of all, I hope that you’re doing well wherever you are. I know perfectly well this probably isn’t the case, because of everything that has happened in this past period, referring to everything — physically, mentally, and much much deeper in your heart.

You know, I have just decided to write you this letter, and really I don’t have the faintest idea what is pushing me. It’s simply something deep within me that says do it and, well, I hope that one day you can read it and somehow you can feel my support. Perhaps I’m being compelled by solidarity, comradeship, friendship, I don’t know, because I have never met you and I don’t have the faintest idea who you are or what you like to do in your ‘free’ time. But, well, all that aside, here I am, compañera. I am with you in much more than in simple letters that can be read as ‘beautiful’… Continue reading “Mexico: Open letter of imprisoned comrade Braulio Duran to Felicity Ryder”

Letter of Felicity Ryder from clandestinity on the recent conditional release of Mario López from the Mexican prisons

from Contrainfo, translated from Spanish

To my brother Mario,

Six months have passed since you were kidnapped that night out of bad luck, since you were tortured and threatened, since your family and friends were harassed. For six months they tried everything to break your acratist spirit – they locked your body within four walls and innumerable bars, away from the wild forests where you belong, but could not penetrate your mind at all times that you were close to your comrades in affinity across the world. They made you undergo pain, but your willingness to fight always won.

They tried to hinder your advocates in affinity, in order to stop them from expressing their solidarity with you, not realizing that a couple of male strangers lurking in the shadows at dawn and some empty death threats would not be able to stop those who are willing to fight alongside you. They sent their prisoners-traitors to do you harm, but the solidarity which was sown always proved stronger. During these months you mocked the enemy, enduring the pain, incertitude and torture of the confinement of a savage individual, and each long second you clung tight to your convictions. You used all your bursting energy to propagate freedom in every step, succeeding even in such an infertile place to continue the analysis of our insurrectional struggle, without ever stopping to fight, even for a second, for freedom and anarchy.
