    किसानों को गन्ने का जल्दी भुगतान हो, इसके लिये सरकार द्वारा चीनी निर्यात व इथेनॉल उत्पादन को प्रोत्साहन दिया गया है। पहले 3 वर्ष में इथेनॉल की वजह से कुल 22 हजार करोड़ रुपये गन्ना किसानों को मिले थे, वहीं पिछले एक साल में 15 हजार करोड़ रुपये मिले हैं।
