The anguish and pain which India and its children suffered during the dark phase of partition cannot be put in words. But it's really bizzare that the people who were responsible for this tragedy want to position themselves as healers of the society. (1/5)

The 2 nation theory was first advocated by Hindu Mahasabha under VD Savarkar in 1937.This year both Muslim League & Hindu Mahasabha were rejected by people of India in provincial election. 3 years later Muslim League joined the chorus of Hindu Mahasabha demanding partition. (2/5)

The Pakistan resolution was moved by Fazlul Haq under whom Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookheejee was Finance Minister. Note: When resolution for partition was passed in Sindh, Hindu Mahasabha which was in govt with Muslim League in the province didn't resign & continued the alliance.(3/5)
