    Thanks so much Patrick! Very happy the BBC has a specialist reporter investigating online disinformation, conspiracies and abuse. Worth the scarier bits for covering important stories about the human cost of all of this - and speaking to those impacted.

    A random bit of appreciation. You're doing tremendously valuable and important work. Must be draining and pretty hairy at times. But thank you for doing it so well and for having the courage to do it.

    I'm not sure how Marianna has the energy to take on the climate deniers after all her work tackling covid conspiracies But she will and she will do it brilliantly, essential coverage in a world of disinformation

    I'm often asked if there will be a rerun of 6 January. I've been replying that all of the violent street energy on the Right at the moment is devoted to Covid stuff: anti-lockdown, anti-mask, anti-vaccine certificates, anti vaccines...

    Anti-vax activists attempting to storm BBC's Television centre is more evidence of how a movement muddled with online conspiracies is becoming increasingly violent online - and off of it. I reported on this for Newsnight - and receive threats regularly.
