The US wants a return to "democracy" in Venezuela. If you want an idea of the type of "democracy" the US wants Venezuela to go back to, take a moment to read about the "Caracazo" in 1989, when Venezuela's US-backed President slaughtered 3,000 protesters.

One of the main struggles we face is the tide of misinformation against Venezuela in the mainstream media. These are the same media who lied to us about Yugoslavia, Iraq and Libya. We are encouraging all our supporters to put pressure on media outlets to report fairly.
