The Scholarship provides support for new, non-traditional, or returning adult students. Applicants must be an active employee or volunteer at a community-based organization, non-profit, advocacy group, or labor union. After fleeing the horrors of the Liberian Civil War, Koffi Bentum has overcome the unthinkable to become a #CUNY2021 graduate and is now graduating as SLU’s salutatorian. With a passion for fighting inequity and injustice, Koffi will continue his studies at Baruch College, pursuing an M.A. in international affairs. Congrats Koffi!
