    Wild rose just outside my front door here in Yellowknife. Shot with the Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6. Its minimum focus distance of just over 7 feet means 'quasi-macro' images like this are possible.

    What a glorious Nova Scotia day! I rarely get out to Peggy's Cove in the day, preferring sunrise or sunset. This afternoon the sun, sky, rocks, and water made for an amazing visit. Ohhh....and the lighthouse.
