The threatened exodus from Twitter is like moving to a new area, settling in then seeing For Sale boards planted outside the nicest neighbours houses. Will they actually move? Will their homes stand empty? Will they change their minds?

I found a second hand copy of The Secret Garden in Tewkesbury on Wednesday and am relaxing into the consoling power of the story again over 70 years since I first read it.

Chester here brings to mind another K9 spotted by an off duty policeman a while ago. I made up a back story and only polished up his achievements a little bit. What truly amazing animals they are.

I love this film from England, 1901. We’re close enough that it’s not just a crowd of people. You can see all the individual personalities of the children showing off, jostling their friends and pulling faces to the camera. It’s worth watching twice.

Ronnie O’Sullivan on imperious form in the Champion of Champions snooker tournament. Good to see the players in comfortable sport shirts instead of the usual formal get up.

Tuesday painting. More Worcester Pershore sprays, some unused. Pre digital, actual artwork was sent out to clients and was sometimes damaged. The strawberry motif returned from a sales conference crossed out in thick black pencil but I managed to restore it.

Tuesday painting. This old fashioned quartered rose was grown and loved by another member of the Worcester Porcelain design team. He asked me to incorporate it into the Pershore pattern range so I did.

This is to thank the gardeners and flowers growers whose posts are such a delight, and in remembrance of the scorching summer of 1976 when glow worms and nightingales visited our corner of Worcestershire.

Canadian, Darrick Thomson works with Thai Elephant Conservation in Chiangmai. He was away for 18 months due to covid19 (all Thai boarders were closed then). See the elephants reactions when they hear him calling on return. (As received in WA)

I find that writing about things I don’t like and can do nothing about draws the sting a little, so this is what I did to insomnia which features on here quite often.

I wrote this at the end of paid employment, gathering up all the current jargon which is now outdated and needs revising, but where to start? Are there any committee meetings now, and who holds them?
