Racial rhetoric hits home

Well, to the Dimocrats of Dallas’s Highland Park, anyhow. Luckily Cousin Jerry is deceased, not that it would matter anyhow, his sons being well past-college age. But he was a wealthy Dim and he lived in Highland Park. And so he would have gotten BLM’s letter. Wonder what he would have thought of it?

Ice Cream Politics

Proud to say (after they decided to stop selling their product in Judea and Samaria) I have never eaten Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. Blue Bell, a Texas brand, is simply too good to try a competitor and I suspect they would always put sales before politics every time.,

Banning 9mm

Our senile, crooked pedophile president, whose party stole him into office (all those swing states stopped counting at midnight, the classic election steal), suggests banning 9mm pistols. Good luck with that. He’d have better luck confiscating what’s already out there.

Though that would be a risky prospect for the cops. On the other hand just having the feds close down the owner’s banking should do the trick of getting the pistols turned in. Not that I favor that, but it’s an option the pedo might take. But then he has a PhD in lying. So we shall see. He could be just angling for some fat payoff under the table.

Ancestor Reiki

Cindi, my Reiki Master teacher, uses Angel Reiki, calling in help from the angels and archangels. I prefer ancestor Reiki, asking my beloved of several generations specifically and the unknown preceding others to help with the flow of the channel through me. I call them the gang, hoping that irreverence won’t hurt me. Hasn’t so far.

The Crown

Is a series on Netflix about Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II (Lilabet, as her husband called her) that is mostly good. I’m on the second season now and still enjoying it. Some of the actors were also in Downton Abbey, which further amuses, watching them be someone different, or mostly different.

UPDATE: The Kennedys, before the assassination, visit QE2. The actors don’t much resemble Jack and Jackie. Her apology to Lilabet for saying snotty things about her and admission to being doped up by the WH doctors is bizarre. Maybe? Or not.

MORE: Season 3, Episode 1 has a new Lilabet and a new Phillip (trading Matt Smith for the villain of Outlander) and, suddenly, I couldn’t care less. Smarter would have been to age the originals. Oh, well, on to better (well, different) things.

Colonoscopy

I’m scheduled for another one, although I really don’t intend to be treated for any cancer discovered, simply because I want a heads-up. If anything’s found, I prefer to just find out how long I have and sign up for hospice. Having watched Mrs. Charm go through chemo, I know I don’t want any of that poison. No surgery and no radiation, either. I’d just rather know what’s coming than be in the dark. If nothing is, then I can rest easy for a few more years. About colon cancer, anyway, which felled my father and grandfather.

UPDATE: Got the pre-op appointment set for Aug. 31. Event usually happens soon after.
