    When 9/11 happened, there were reports of people in the Middle East dancing in the streets in celebration and joy. Something to think about considering the 10k+ people we've got stranded in Afghanistan right now with no action to get them out.

    Every time - literally every time, we get a headline like this: "Kamala is REALLY IMPORTANT, GUYS!" Then whatever she's supposed to be doing either gets dropped, botched, or she's simply nowhere to be found in any of it. And when it goes to shit from there, everyone just shrugs.

    This is the first time Biden has ever had to deal with a press that now suddenly understood for the first time in a generation, that they have an actual job to do that goes beyond their usual fun and flavor. Not enough to blame Biden & his woke SecDef & joint chiefs. Media too.

    Thing about the relationship between the press and the Democratic Party is that it's mostly one way. The press covers for their favorite stars, and in return they usually only get contempt. Democrats know how much an honest press would actually fuck them, but take it for granted.

    Amazing to see us acting like the press, which turned on Biden more or less for the first time ever, isn't desperately trying to cover up its own role in this entire Afghanistan debacle. As though they don't know that they gave him every assurance of protection & cover before.

    The media DID label Lincoln a failure in 1864 during the terrible late spring & summer when the Army of the Potomac was getting gutted repeatedly at Wilderness, Spotsylvania, Cold Harbor, and Petersburg. He nearly lost the nom and would've lost the election. But for Uncle Billy.

    the way many in the media and punditry are jumping on Biden makes me think if they and this ecosystem were around in 1863 they would have deemed Lincoln a failure or in 1944 at D-Day would have lambasted Gen. Eisenhower.

    This right here is why I don't believe a single "wow, the media is actually doing a good job!" broken clock observer. That's just opportunistic cover for a lifetime of malpractice. This rot, depicted here, is what the American media really is. And it will continue.

    Joe Biden said yesterday that “some politicians” are "banning masks in schools." The New York Times echoed that this morning. It is not true. Not a single governor in America done anything of the sort.

    Many of the people that are being smeared as “ anti-vaxx” take their health very, very seriously.See how many gym goers, current and former athletes are taking a “ wait and see” approach.These are people that have made their bodies a priority for years. They are not irresponsible
