Jason Pellegrino
Jason joined Domain as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer in August 2018.
He was previously Google’s Managing Director Australia and New Zealand and a member of the Asia-Pacific regional leadership team. Jason joined Google in 2008 and held leadership positions including Managing Director of Asia-Pacific Sales Operations & Strategy; Sales Director, Australia; and Head of Sales and Operations and Strategy for Google’s Australia & New Zealand business.
Prior to Google, Jason worked in several roles over 15 years spanning corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions and finance at Dakota Capital Partners, LEK Consulting, PepsiCo International and KPMG.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Wollongong and an MBA from London Business School.
Rob Doyle
Chief Financial Officer
Rob joined Fairfax Media in April 2013 and was appointed CFO of Domain in 2017. While the Group General Manager of Finance for Fairfax Media, he was responsible for Group Planning and Analysis, Business Analytics, Finance Systems, Finance Operations, Process Excellence and Group Procurement activities. Prior to joining Fairfax Media, Rob had 15 years of experience at Vodafone Group in the UK and Vodafone Hutchison Australia, and prior to that was an auditor at Kingston Smith in London.
Rob holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Southampton and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Tony Blamey
Group Director, Commercial
Tony was appointed Group Director, Commercial, in December 2018. He has responsibility for Domain businesses spanning Residential, Commercial, Developer and Media, Agent Services and Corporate Sales, as well as Go To Market, Sales Operations and Customer Experience.
Tony has held a number of senior roles within Fairfax Media and Domain businesses since joining in 2003, including Chief Product & Customer Experience Officer, Chief Commercial Officer, General Manager of Domain, General Manager of MyCareer, Sales Director MyCareer and National Manager of AdOnline. At Domain, Tony was instrumental in leading the Domain business through digital transformation having played a pivotal role in bringing together the first integrated online and print teams.
Prior to joining Fairfax Media, Tony previously held senior sales management roles at Lawlex – an online regulatory publisher and compliance management business. His media career commenced at Yellow Pages where he was involved with many of the early internet directory and search engine products.
Tony holds a BS (Agricultural Science) from the University of Melbourne.
Jason Chuck
Group Director, Consumer
Jason joined Domain as Group Director, Consumer, in April 2019.
He was previously the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of LJ Hooker Avnu and prior to that, he was the Asia Pacific Managing Director for Houzz, founding their Sydney office and APAC businesses.
Jason has spent over 15 years growing and scaling international technology businesses, with a focus on strategy, sales and marketing with Etsy (as their MD ANZ), eHarmony (as AU founder and VP of International) and Google (as head of marketing for Australia and New Zealand).
Jason holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from INSEAD.
Rosalind Tregurtha
Group Director, Employee Experience
Ros leads Employee Experience for the Domain Group and has deep experience working in media/tech as a human resources professional and employment relations specialist. She is responsible for end-to-end delivery of the HR function, including health, safety and environment, Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainability.
Prior to joining Domain Group in May 2018, she was HR Director for Fairfax Media’s Australian Metro Publishing division, supporting publishing operations spanning The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Australian Financial Review and other titles and digital ventures. Ros also led HR for Fairfax’s Events and Entertainment and was responsible for Organisational Development.
Ros has held several other HR roles at Fairfax, the CSIRO, and spent times volunteering in Samoa for the Public Service Commission as part of the Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development Program.
She has a commerce degree with honours from the University of Western Sydney.
Catriona McGregor
Group General Counsel & Company Secretary
Catriona joined Domain Group in December 2017 from Fairfax Media and has advised Domain and Fairfax in various capacities for over four years. Catriona is responsible for the legal and regulatory compliance of the Domain Group.
Catriona has extensive corporate M&A, corporate advisory and commercial experience both in Australia and overseas. In addition to her role at Fairfax, Catriona has operated in legal counsel roles at Asda (Walmart Group), Standard Life and Royal Bank of Scotland. Catriona commenced her legal career in the UK before moving to Herbert Smith Freehills in Sydney in 2012.
Catriona has a law degree with honours from the University of Glasgow and has also studied at the University of Tilburg in the Netherlands and the University of Sydney. She is dual qualified in NSW and Scotland and is a registered notary public in the UK.
Pooyan Asgari
Group Director, Data
Pooyan oversees Data, Analytics, BI and AI for the group. Pooyan has 15 years’ experience in the Business Intelligence, Data Science and Machine Learning fields. Pooyan’s team (a group of skilled data scientists, data analysts data engineers) major focus is to provide seamless access to data and analytics across the group and support teams to solve their complex problems with the help of data. Pooyan’s team also actively provide cutting edge AI and BI solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
The team has played a major role in transforming Domain to an agile data-driven business in the past few years. Before joining Domain in 2014, Pooyan was Director of Analytical Products for HLA Global, working with a number of high-profile health care organisation such as Cancer Council of Australia and centre of disease control (CDC) in the United States to build cutting edge AI solutions for the medical sector.
Pooyan has a Bachelor of Software Engineering from Tehran Azad University, a Master in Information Technology from Macquarie University and PhD in machine learning and natural language processing (IT) from the University of Sydney.
YY Kim
Group Director, Strategy & Operations
Yunyeong joined Domain as the Group Director, Strategy & Operations, in July 2019.
Yunyeong was previously a member of the eBay Australia & NZ leadership team, as their Director of Categories and Strategic Partnerships. She joined eBay Marketplaces in 2013 as the APAC strategy lead, and then led the Strategic Partnerships team working with the top retailers and brands on eBay.
Prior to eBay, Yunyeong spent eight years in strategy and M&A at KKR Capstone in London, McKinsey in Sydney and Fonterra in Auckland.
Yunyeong holds a Bachelor of Laws with honours and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland and an MBA from Insead.
Maty Paule
Group Director, Product
Maty, who joined Fairfax Media in January 2011, leads product management for Domain. He has over 10 years of experience leading product and project teams across media and banking.
During his time at Domain, Maty has successfully driven the product strategy for Commercial Real Estate, moving the product to be a best in class property portal which leads the Australian market for product innovation in the commercial space. He has also led the Agent Services business and was responsible for overseeing the implementation of Domains first mobile apps.
David Bolton
Group Director, Technology
David joined as Group Director, Technology in January 2020.
He was previously Head of Engineering at Woolworths, helping establish the WooliesX division. Prior to Woolworths, David held similar roles at ING, William Hill, News Corp and Westfield, as well as time in startups and the financial services sector.
David has 20 years experience building software and leading technology teams across several industries, with a particular focus on bringing world class software engineering to organisations undergoing digital transformations, including building Cloud and Agile capabilities and mindsets, along with sustainable technology platforms and products.
He holds a Bachelor of Science from UNSW, and an MBA (Technology) from AGSM.
