We’ve achieved amazing things and had incredible growth to date, but we’re only starting. We are now searching for an outstanding Social & Content Manager to help us take Blys to the next level as we continue to build out the platform and expand.

With alumni from Freelancer, eBay, Canva, Booking.com and The Iconic, you’ll be surrounded by a driven and experienced team of product, marketing and engineering talent, and help execute an ambitious roadmap and growth targets. About the role

  • Own the development, execution and optimisation of the broader content marketing strategy.
  • Provide innovative and creative recommendations for content creation, campaign activity and influencer marketing.
  • Foster compelling storytelling to create a dynamic, engaging and authentic content across different channels including but not limited to social media, email, blog and website, as well as brand and audience aligned advertising content.
  • Plan and implement all content, social media and email marketing campaigns.
  • Lead the production or briefing of compelling content assets as required including videos, copywriting, blogging and creative design.
  • Establish unique plans for each social media platform to increase the reach and engagement of our content.
  • Monitor, respond and encourage user engagement and activity across all Blys social and digital platforms
  • Track, analyse and report on social media and content performance/metrics, including using Google Analytics and social media analysis tools.
  • Be accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, traffic, engagement, conversions and retention.
  • Work with a senior team member to execute SEO strategies and paid advertising campaigns.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide content for new features and product development.

About you

  • Minimum 3 years experience in content-focused marketing, whether agency, in-house or publisher.
  • Innately creative, and willing to veer out of your comfort zone to produce unique and engaging content / copy / messaging / creative for our audience.
  • Proven experience executing end-end social media strategy to drive brand engagement and growth KPIs, whilst managing online communities.
  • You live and breathe social, are always on top of trends and best practice, know exactly how to craft a brand voice across varied channels and are skilled at creating content built for engagement.
  • Confident executing email / CRM marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Experienced in bringing strategic content to life across multiple platforms, and considering the content mix to drive brand messaging and audience engagement.
  • You’re a natural wordsmith, and have leveraged your strong copywriting skills writing for customer engagement across email, website, social and CRM channels.
  • Have had exposure to managing creative content production (video, photo, graphic design) and optimisation.
  • Are adept at managing nimble content plans, including well thought through channel schedules.
  • Have a solid knowledge of FB Ads Manager and social scheduling tools.
  • Knowledge or experience with SEO and Google Ads is a plus.
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Canva and AutoPilot is a plus.
  • A great brand storyteller with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Confident, skilled and creative, with a passion and ability to generate messaging that resonates..
  • You have a “test-and-learn” mindset, seeking improvements through rapid, continuous iterations.
  • Excellent organisation, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable in an experimental and fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • A strong eye for detail to ensure our messaging and content remains consistent across all interactions with the brand.
