    Similarly they will say Bertrand Russell is a Christian atheist even though he wrote Why I am not a Christian.Then Ibn Warraq, a Muslim atheist even though he wrote Why I am not a Muslim .Then Harris Sultan is also Muslim atheist because of his parents from Lahore.

    Lack of purpose in the afterlife? Just imagine sharing conversations with some of the greatest minds in human history (i.e. Einstein, Socrates, etc). They'll be plenty to accomplish after death to give meaning & purpose. Why settle for a temporary high instead of eternal liberty?

    But Buddha, Bertrand Russell, Jean Paul Sartre, Arun Shourie, Hartosh Singh Bal and now Harris Sultan can lead high moral lives without thinking of after life . Nobody killed Buddha or Charvak even 2800 years ago in 5000 years of Pakistan.

    There are a lot of young people these days who were born Hindu but brag that Hinduism is very accepting of atheism. In support of this, they sometimes cite sāṁkhya or yoga or karma-miṁāmsa theories of Vedic interpretation, even though these are all extinct.
