Plot: Tani and Kamli are two sisters who live in Maharashtra, India. While Tani has married Bhaurao and lives a comfortable life in a village, Kamli has married a male in Bombay, where she lives a poor lifestyle with her brother, Sreepu, and a school-going daughter. After the passing away of her husband, Kamli becomes very depressed and eventually passes away. Sreepu takes her daughter to live with Tani in the village. Shortly after their arrival, Sreepu returns home to Bombay, while an overjoyed Tani welcomes her niece. Her husband, Bhaurao, is not at all pleased with the new arrival. Tani gets her niece admitted in the village school - only girl in the entire school. Her niece's talents go unnoticed by a careless Teacher, Deshpande, who eventually insults Tani and as a result she gets her admission annulled, and gets her admitted to another school run by Jadhav. While this does bring some stability in her niece's life, Tani's life is anything but, as she knows that her husband is having a sexual relationship with her maid-servant, Tulsa. A confrontation does take place and Bhaurao more or less tells Tani that she should resign herself to her situation. The question remains, will Tani really resign herself to this situation, and if not, what will be the outcome for her young and easily impressionable niece?

Gypsy: Some men have called me an ecdysiast. Do you know what that means? An ecdysiast is one who, or that which, sheds it's skin. In vulgar parlance, a stripper. But I'm not a stripper. At these prices, I'm an ecdysiast!

Rose Hovick: You need something to remind you your goal was to be a great actress. Not a cheap stripper.::Louise "Gypsy Rose Lee" Hovick: My sister's the actress, mother. And I'm *not* a cheap stripper. I'm the highest-paid in the business.::Rose Hovick: You won't be ready for vaudeville when it comes back.::Louise "Gypsy Rose Lee" Hovick: No, I'll be *dead*.
Rose Hovick: Nothing is better than vaudeville!
Tessie Tura: But take it from me, to be a stripper, all you need to have is no talent.::Mazeppa: You'll pardon me, but to have no talent is not enough. What you need to have is an idea that makes your strip special.
Rose Hovick: Remember - you're a lady. You make them beg for more... and then don't give it to them!
Louise "Gypsy Rose Lee" Hovick: You really would have been something, Mother.::Rose Hovick: Think so?::Louise "Gypsy Rose Lee" Hovick: If you had had someone to push you like I had.::Rose Hovick: If I could've been, I would've been. And that's show business.
Baby June: Hello, everybody. My name is June. What's yours?
Louise "Gypsy Rose Lee" Hovick: [singing] Little cat, little cat, why do you look so blue? Did somebody paint you to look like that, or is it your birthday, too? Little lamb, little lamb, I wonder how old I am.
Rose Hovick: Here she is, boys! Here she is, world! Here's Rose!
Louise "Gypsy Rose Lee" Hovick: I said, turn it off! Nobody laughs at me! Because I laugh first. At me! Me, from Seattle! Me, with no education. Me, with no talent, as you kept reminding me my whole life! Well, Mama look at me now. I'm a star! Look! Look how I live! Look at my friends! Look where I'm going! I'm not staying in burlesque! I'm moving, mabye up, maybe down! But wherever it is, I'm enjoying it. I'm having the time of my life! Because for the first time, it is my life! And I love it. I love every second of it! And I'll be damned if you're gonna take it away from me! I am Gypsy Rose Lee! And I love her! And if you don't, you can just clear out now!
Louise "Gypsy Rose Lee" Hovick: [singing] Let me entertain you, Let me make you smile, Let me do a few tricks, Some old and then some new tricks, I'm very versatile, And if you're real good, I'll make you feel good, I want your spirits to climb, So let me entertain you, And we'll have a real good time; Yes, sir!, We'll have a real good time.

Plot: Columbia's 50th serial (between "Blackhawk" and "The Lost Planet") and made during the production season, 1952-53, when Clayton Moore left "The Lone Ranger" television series and was replaced by John Hart for a year. Story has frontier trouble-shooter Jim Scott seeking to put an end to the bloodshed between whites and Indians on the Western frontier. He is aided by Tulsa, the boss of a wagon train, and by frontier settlers Frank Baker and his sister Ann. A band of Apaches headed by Porico, son of Geronimo, continually attack the settlers, their wagon trains and a new stage line. In vain Jim seeks a meeting with Geronimo. A band of white renegades, led by Ace Devlin and Rance Rankin, manage to worsen the situation. After scores of savage battles and hair-raising escapes (14 to be exact, as Chapter 15, "The Peace Treaty," had no need for a cliffhanger), Jim succeeds in killing or capturing the outlaws, and convinces Porico to arrange a peace-accomplishing mission with Geronimo.
