Bro yeah Jim and Claire have been through hell what with being possessed/controlled by a great evil and hurting the ones they loved or just having to hold a great power on their shoulders
But Toby honestly has it so much worse (I'm not comparing but I am wanting them to bring this up in the movie)
Toby has been Jims right hand since they were kids and has been tossed aside when Claire came to the team
Which he even expressed how he felt miserable bc of it
But not only that he also has to WATCH everyone around him hurt while not being able to help
He literally witnessed Claire try to sacrifice herself to get everyone away from the army
He watched Jim lose his humanity to defeat Gunmar
He watched Arrggghh die in front of him after holding his secret for so long
He watched Draal die
He watched Beast Jim and Claire fight to the death
He watched Jim break because of the street
He watched Claire become possessed by the Eldritch Queen herself
This dude has seen his friends die, and be hurt
He watched his whole world burning at his feet and was barely able to do anything bc he didn't have some major power like his friends. Yeah he destroyed the Shadow Staff, beating Morgona, and broke Angor, but thats really all he was able to do big term
This poor kid has seen hell in 3 different series and i hope he is able to get the attention and kick a** like he deserves
