Hazardous Surf Warning for the following areas: Macquarie Coast, Hunter Coast, Sydney Coast, Illawarra Coast, Batemans Coast and Eden Coast Warnings for Wednesday 19 May Hazardous Surf Warning for the following areas: Byron Coast, Coffs Coast, Macquarie Coast, Hunter Coast, Sydney Coast, Illawarra Coast, Batemans Coast and Eden Coast NSW Police Force, Marine Area Command advise that: People should consider staying out of the water and avoid walking near surf-exposed areas. Rock fishers should avoid coastal rock platforms exposed to the ocean and seek a safe location that is sheltered from the surf. Boaters planning to cross shallow water and ocean bars should consider changing or delaying their voyage. Boaters already on the water should carry the appropriate safety equipment and wear a lifejacket. The flood peak has now passed Tilpa and the river level is falling. Minor flooding is occurring along the Darling River at Wilcannia where a minor flood peak is likely to occur Friday (21/05/2021). The Darling River at Menindee Town is likely to remain below the minor flood level. Darling River downstream of Bourke to Tilpa: Minor flooding is occurring along the Darling River at Tilpa. The Darling River at Tilpa is currently at 9.33 metres and falling, with minor flooding. The Darling River at Tilpa is likely to fall below the minor flood level (9.00 metres) late Monday afternoon (17/05/2021). Darling River downstream of Tilpa to Wilcannia: Minor flooding is occurring along the Darling River at Wilcannia. The Darling River at Wilcannia is currently at 9.39 metres and rising, with minor flooding. The river level at Wilcannia is likely to peak near 9.40 metres during Friday (21/05/2021), with minor flooding.
