A 2017 Holden Special Vehicles Maloo GTSR with only 21km on the clock has come up for sale for nearly a million dollars in Western Australia.

The Maloo has a build plate showing it is number 600 of 600 produced, and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the former Managing Director of HSV confirming it was the last GTSR ute built during production.

The vehicle was delivered brand-new to Gardner Autos, with the dealership currently offering the Maloo for $958,000.

Rare and special HSV models have been in hot demand in recent years following the end of Holden production locally, and the subsequent closing of Holden as a brand.

In January 2021, an HSV Maloo GTSR W1 sold for $1.05 million at auction. The W1 was one of four utes made, and only offered to HSV insiders on condition of secrecy.

The regular Maloo GTSR is fitted with a 6.2-litre 'LSA' supercharged V8 engine producing 435kW of power and 740Nm of torque.

This manual Phantom Black Maloo GTSR offered for sale was never registered, and never went through the 'pre-delivery' phase which removes plastics designed to protect the paint and interior when being transported from the factory.
